Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Son I yelled out WTF!!!!! when she got hit by the car. At that point he was telling his girl she doesn't love him. You just came for the ride. My thoughts were dude Fing up a good thing.
But i did like how the movie ended.

Half the audience in our theater jumped out of their seat. One jersey shore looking dude even yelled out loudly WTF (really loudly) & then apologized to everyone by saying something like, "i'm sorry everyone, that just shocked the s**t out of me." We all chuckled/laughed.

Man, season 4 of Dexter is great so far :eek
my favorite of the series

Man I don't wanna tell you to stop there but you should stop there.

Writers stop giving a **** later on, season 5 is pretty good but season 4 can rival any season of any show, masterful

Just finished the episode when Lundy got murked. :{ He didn't even see it coming.

Just watched Jagten(The Hunt). Great movie. I have no idea what I'd do if I were put in that position.
Hated that ending. I was like really...really?! The credits!?

Anyone in here checked out True Detective on HBO yet? Don't think I've seen it mentioned.

Fire, looks like the beginning of greatness

Doesn't hurt Woody and McConaughey are two of my favorites but the writing/acting/cinematography are all exceptional so far

True Detective is a great show. Great cast, great story, great writing, great, great, great. You really gotta pay attention though...

Been hearing so much from NT about True Detective. I am watching on the first episode now and hope to be entrain

Will watch Jagten later on tonight.

Everybody that started watching and/or loves True Detective definitely flocked to the S1 thread. Hard not to. I think it's gonna be great but given it's one and done with this cast some ppl will wait after the 8 eps to really praise and recommend. It's like a miniseries in that sense so you're not missing out on a lot if you don't catch it the first time around like AHS.

As I mention miniseries, ABC canceled The Assets on ABC? It conflicts with some other shows I like to watch so I was just gonna wait till it's all up on demand but dunno if they'll air the remaining 6 eps. It's based on a book which is about real life events telling the story of a CIA traitor during the Cold War who was eventually hunted down and caught by a CIA team created to take him down.

Finally finished Wolf. Movie was wild. Can't believe dude really did that. Is there an article comparing what happened and what didn't? I wanna see the real life people too...

The guy who introduced Leo in the end of the movie? That's him. :lol

With The Godfather Trilogy on AMC past two days, I've been watching bits and pieces. Real talk, De Niro has done us a disservice by not filming another movie where he's full-fledged Italian/Sicilian like in part 2.

I'm biased though.

Those scenes in part 2 remind me of all the stories I heard growing up about my grandparents when they first got here. Those fruit stands, the camaraderie in the neighborhood, etc. That scene after De Niro gets fired from his job because The Black Hand wants the guy to hire his nephew, and De Niro's boss tries to give him that box of food as a severance package, and De Niro says no. And the transition to the next scene, when De Niro gets home and unwraps that Bosc pear. Just some beautiful, touching stuff.

The Godfathers are really sad movies when you break them down. Tragic even.
