I told my wife just now that James Rebhorn died & she was like, "whose that?" I had to remind her he was in one of her favorite movies Guarding Tess. He played Nick Cage's secret service boss. I couldn't find the scene where he freaked out at something Cage was doing that was totally against all regulations. Both Cage & Shirley MacLaine played their roles very well. MacLaine played a pain the butt ex first lady & Cage played her upteenth secret service lead. The dude's voice as the President was amusing too.

Yeah...Savages...is just...man...that movie is comedy? I look at it the same way I look at Once Upon a Time in Mexico or Smokin Aces. There's a little bit of True Romance in it, a little Man on Fire, a little Domino, a little Three Kings. If anything was wrong with it, it's that it didn't go far enough. And the 3 kids were just the wrong stuff? Like Kick-*** isn't bad, but Riggins and Blake Lively just ain't got much to make you really care about them or the ridiculous stuff they go through. Plank from Ed, Edd and Eddy got more charisma than them. Riggins might be cardboard (still gotta watch Lone Survivor), but I think hate really dislike Blake Lively, she's the worst.

Benicio deserved a better everything around him. Salma was kinda interesting. Anyone in this thread could've directed this movie. And this movie really badly wants to be True Romance and a Half or something. Stone tried to make a Tony Scott movie, and missed more times than he hit. I didn't hate it, though. It was worth watchin just to see Benicio hungry.

Except that ending. **** that ending.

I kinda get that...she was fine in The Town and I liked her in that scene when she recognized dude in Green Lantern. But outside of that, I don't wanna see her in things.

I dunno. I linda love it the way it is. I feel like Tarantino would've added an edge to it, that I'm kinda happy isn't there. Besides, in the original script, I think the whole movie was supposed to happen out of order Pulp/Reservoir style. I like it better straightforward.

Blake Lively was pretty good in Hick.  she played a junkie/lot lizard type in that too. maybe that's her lane

she's attractive, decent actress but she's so uninteresting.  

I remember Ben Affleck telling a story about how she was shocked that he grew up with the Jason Bourne
