Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

It's pretty much our cult classic.

I haven't seen it in like a year and a half, and I still randomly think about it.

I saw Rescue Dawn the other day. Loved it. So much despair but they had such good funny moments. I do wish we got to see what happened to the other guys and what exactly was being hinted at when they escaped and that other guy just disappeared. Great unison of hope and hopelessness.
You should really give Little Dieter Needs to Fly a try since it is essentially a documentary about Bale's character in the film. Same director as well.

I need to finish Ray Donovan.

@Master Zik
Damn I thought Strain started in August. Was it any good?
Yeah I had no clue it was premiering either which is why I watched it last. I caught the last viewing. Its probably already online but FX is also re-airing it tonight at 12. Be aware that after this show airs on Mondays.

It was really good. My boy Russo and the way Del Toro is world building with the whole mechanics of this type of vampirism really hooked me. Really liked how they came with the approach of these ppl being loosely connected, the countdown, and them being completely unaware of what they're apart of. Had a nice tenseness and frightening vibe to it.

I finally got to see Life Itself, the documentary on the great Roger Ebert. I'm trying to piece together the words to describe how I feel about it, or more so how I now feel about the critic himself. Everything I want to say, doesn't feel good enough, or sophisticated enough. Roger Ebert will forever be the bar, none of us who write about film, will reach. Yet it's the bar we all look up to and strive to touch.

The Strain is dope dope.
This is going to be good. I was tense as hell watching, the whole time thinking, man this could happen.

noticed that utopia season 2 started! gonna watch that first thing tomorrow at work. kinda enjoyed first eps of the strain and extant.

I think Utopia runs in it's entirety Today and Tomorrow.
If not in it's entirety, it definitely runs two days in a row, today and tomorrow

The Strain is the phenomenal so far.

Going to check out The Strain on on-demand today. Didn't know it had started already either.

I started Orange Is The New Black last week.

I enjoy it and will probably see the series through. Just a little disappointing that the pretty much all characters really shine, but the one character I absolutely hate is Piper.

my gf and I have been binge watching this for the last 3 or so weeks, we're in the middle of season 2.

Word is season 3 won't be out until next june and that is devestating

oitnb comes out around the same time every year though. I've read a few people being disappointed on the wait but that's how its been.

Utopia doesn't air in the US in my area at least. It Will probably hit Amazon for 1.99 per ep though.
I'm bound to find it for free 99 though. We shall see

Joaquin Phoenix, Marion Cotillard, and Jeremy Renner :hat

This movie just hit Netflix, wasn't really expecting that. Bouta watch it tonight.

Utopia season 2 ep 1 was nice.

I didn't think that they were going to do a prequel style ep so soon though.

Pumped for tonights ep

Still from my thesis film.

700

Was just watching Ferris Bueller with my son. Don't know if I'm feeling nostalgic or what, but it really is a great movie. The scene at the police station with Jennifer Grey and Charlie Sheen is brilliant. Sheen could not have been better in that cameo. Hilarious.
