Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

The main character in The Town was a former NHL player, and the climax took place at Fenway.

I don't see how it wasn't classified as a sports film.

King of the Hill
I'm Gonna Get You Sucka!!!:   Slammer- "What makes you think you can be a Black Hero."
                                                Spade- "I'm an ex-football player."

I'm reading the books right now and I've got the same feeling... Can't wait to see it though. Fincher is great.

As for 2010... Inception was my favorite movie of the year. Not the best, but definitely the one I'll watch time and time again for years. Social Network and King's Speech were the best for me. Excellent movies in a year FULL of them. What a great year 2010 was.

For 2011, NOTHING has me more hyped than Super 8. I get the feeling JJ Abrams is gonna nail this. And I love not knowing much of anything going in...

Cowboys and Aliens
Don't be Afraid of the Dark
Thor
The Muppets
Contagion
Paul
X-Men
Captain America
Hangover 2
Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Rise of the Apes
Apollo 18
Hugo Cabret
MI4
Green Lantern
The Thing
Battle: LA
Drive Angry
War Horse
And Sucker Punch, even though early reviews are kinda weak.

Big year for Alien and Superhero flicks and it seems like Steven Spielberg is EVERYWHERE in 2011..
