Love both those actors, love everything about Saw 2. This makes sense to have Daniel be a key piece in the next movie based on what happened to Donnie Wahlberg in the later movies.

At least m. night had him return for Glass to continue playing bruce willis' son from Unbreakable.

I’m glad you love Saw 2! I remembering you mentioning that you are a big fan of the original, and I’ve been meaning to ask you what your thoughts are about the sequels.

I clearly remember the TV spots promoting the first Saw around ‘04. The hype surrounding that movie was huge, and deservedly so

Saw 1-2 are OGs, I saw Saw II in seventh grade with my first girlfriend after Flight Plan (made out for the first time during FP thank you Jodie Foster)

And Flight Plan ended before, and we went into the theater where all our friends were and I shielded my eyes “DANIEL!!!!” “He’s in the wrong house” the audience kept saying

Well, I’m now a huge fan of horror movies

Saw 3-4 are great because of the doctor and Jeff, and how that came to be

Saw 5 is elite because of Niketalk, if you know you know

The ones after—Saw VI is pretty good, but none of the ones after have the same cache. The one I liked the most since Saw V was Saw X.

for me, Denzel saved Gladiator 2 for movie.
hard to follow the first one, especially, after two decades later
was i entertained? yeah, but probably not going to watch it again

Question... but context first.

As mentioned a couple years ago (I think), I've never seen any of the Bond movies.
There's no way I'm watching all 97 of them.
If i looked it up right, it looks like Pierce Brosnan has 4 and Daniel Craig has 5.
Sound about right?
I'll just jump in from Pierce Brosnan's 1st. Goldeneye, right?

I'm caught up on Wick up to 4.

Ssssooooo for tonight:
Goldeneye or John Wick 4?

My advice, skip Pierce for later.

Start with the DC 5. Casino Royale. Trust me on this, please.

I don't think you saw the whole picture, boss.

I was saying that I'm a step ahead of you and I had already checked that before I asked.

So for toight:
John Wick 4 or Goldeneye?

Is this the same Julie Newmar referenced in Too Wong Fu or whatever? That’s the only other place I’ve ever heard that name, no idea she was real….
To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar

Indeed it is. I have never seen that movie, though. But I’m familiar with the title, seeing it listed on the TV guide over the years.

According to wikipedia, the title refers to an autographed photo of Julie Newmar that the characters take with them on their journey.

Honestly, I would start with the OG Connery.

Funny thing is, I got into Bond as a kid because they used to do marathons around the holidays on TNN/Spike TV

:(

Go with John Wick 4 then.

But check P's post for where they are. Or if you have a local library, rent the blue rays.

Casino Royale is on Paramount+.

But QoS, Skyfall, Spectre and NTTD are on Prime.

Truly impressive.
3 replies, none of which answered the cotdamb question.
Outstanding, gents.

This is why they choose the bear. 🤦🏻‍♂️

(Kidding. Laugh. 🔥)

Same. We used to go to library as a kid and I checked out a James Bond encyclopedia by DK and wrote down all the James Bond movies on an index card and tried to watch them all but unfortunately the library didn’t carry them all

Gladiator II was enjoyable. No chance of living up to the OG but I think they did an honorable job tying them together in a way that made sense.

6/8
