Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Just started a chat online with a customer service help desk dude about the new rating system. I figured it was the fastest easiest way to lodge a complaint. Dude was mad chill.

Netflix gotta go back to the star system, and actually have it work. Include the Thumbs Up/Down system too if needed, but the star system was crucial to find out if I'd ACTUALLY be interested in a movie.

I thought The White Queen was greatness, but this The White Princess is surely off to a fire start. :hat

Caught a screening of Raging Bull tonight. It was actually a double feature with Boogie Nights, but I didn't have enough energy to stay for it after the first movie. :lol

So glad I finally got a chance to see it on film and on the big screen. My favorite scorsese and top 1 greatest American film oat imo.

Wanna watch. Don't have the channel anymore. The White Queen was a top notch milf.
Well she's older in this obviously, as The White Princess is her daughter....but Milf before? Bruh, Gilf town now and even sexier.

Of course it's a different actress as she's in her early to mid 30's (in real life she would have been that age I Recond since they were being married away and conceiving at a much younger age but the actress that plays her is about 50 going on fine AF)

Actress is Essie Davis 47yo who played in Matrix Rev and Reloaded and Babadook and my personal favorite of her works, The Slap (UK) in which she plays a 55+ year old in charge of a script dept in which she's boning one of the young actors auditioning for said script(show isn't about that though it's about some twerp 7year old kid who still breast feeds/in public mind you, that gets slapped by a friend of the family for being a twerp and all hell breaks loose between the group of friends over it)

All I wanna do is rub my zoom zoom zoom in her boom boom, and just shake the room nah mean.

Anyway, went on a ramble but....TWP is worth it. The broads are so sharp, and on a mission to take back and keep the throne and overthrow the Tudor rule.

Pics? I hope you're thinking yea because I'm about to post them up. Sorry for those who have mobile and have to scroll past this lengthy post because you don't find it interesting, but I'm on mobile too so I don't want to spend the time [\spoiler]

Watched about 30 minutes of it last night and turned it off. Couldn't get in to it. Maybe I'll try again in a few weeks.

Yeah I stopped after the first 2 episodes of Capaldi but I'll be back once his run ends. I love marathoning the show. Netflix put me on. Am I the only one that wants to see more 8th Doctor stories after that mini story that saw him turn into the War Doctor?

I'm only familiar with docs 11,12 and 13

If you wait until Capaldi's run ends you're going to miss the last season under Stephen Moffat. He's been running the show since the reboot.

Not a huge fan of Moffat. He does some shoddy work. Happy he's leaving. I do like The Pandorica Opens tho.

Seems like I've seen Guerrilla before.

I see the episodes stacking on my DVR, and I have not nor will I make an attempt to watch any of them, anytime soon.

Idk. I understand he's not directing and writing every episode of Dr Who but from what I understand, he's the one who shepherds the overall direction of each season. As in Dr Who as we know it today since the reboot is because of him

As in once he's replaced, Dr Who from that point forward might look and feel very, very different lol

That's just how I understand his influence to be on the show. I could be wrong though.

Anyone wanna recap the 5 seasons of Lost in less than 300 words in a way that's easy for me to understand?

Don't waste your time. The show keeps building and adding cool and mysterious **** but there is no payoff and you'll just finish it highly disappointed.

I'm not interested in watching the whole show. I just want a recap so I can explain to other ppl interested in the show what it's about. I would wiki but I thought maybe before I do so maybe a NTer can recap in a concise and better manner that won't get me confused.

I watched religiously up until somewhere in season 3 I think a long time ago and then I just never finished the show.

My entire understanding of the show is just fuzzy.

I just remember, bunch of ppl stranded on an island. Second season they find that they're not alone. There's a button they gotta push. I don't remember the purpose of the button. The other ppl are called the others and there's this group called the dharma initiative that's apparently behind the whole thing? And then I remember that they did get out but Jack wanted a way back in. And there was stuff about Flash forwards instead of flash backs which I never completely understood. And I don't know how the show ended at all. Just that it was a controversial ending. Lol

lost was fantastic watching real time. the thread on NT was great. the ending wasn't as bad as people made it out to be.

on a completely different note, i think i'll look for my HD with fringe on it and rewatch. that was a great show.

did i not get it right?

the forces of good and evil locked in an eternal battle that only man can make the ultimate sacrifice and decide the victor?
