Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I read the Ready Player One book a long time ago.

Just judging by the trailer, the characters are not what I imagined them to be.

To anyone who watched the movie, lmk what you think 8o

:lol

Damn.

She legit held them to their contract

My thing, how do you find 365 new movies? Was she going all over the world? Or did she go 365 times and saw a dozen moves 20×?

Also if that theater aint across the street 365 trips adds up. Its why I usually bulk up on flicks.

That ****s gotta be fake news. Moviepass didn’t drop the new subscription till like august right? Either way, zik got her beat :lol

I am actually annoyed Ready Player One seems to be the only new movie this weekend :smh:

Might see it twice.

Been waiting for it to be April for 2 weeks now. Seeing at least 9 movies in that mouth not including Infinity War which I'll see 12 times :lol

wait why would you hate cats?

sure they are selfish bastards but i aint ever met a cat that made me wanna meet him up in the octagon?

They really different.

A lot of the missions/ quests are changed. But, they are good. The race scene and the movie one are awesome.

There is also thread for that film.

Anyone else read the book and has anything to say about the book vs the movie?

The film changed A LOT of things from the book. Major changes. Some worked well, others were done better in the book. Like I wrote in the RP1 thread, I feel like a version closer to the book would have made a much better film.

Ready Player One is one of those movies where it's probably difficult to expect a similar experience as the book. You rely so much on your own imagination to create the imagery when you're reading the book, especially with how futuristic and unique the setting is. So when you see it you're like "wait that's not how I imagined it."

Werd. The characters themselves are not what I imagine them to be, based on the trailer. For example, the two leads are not supposed to be that attractive. :lol But that's Hollywood for you..

Beetlejuice was released in theaters 30 years ago today.
