"THE BOMBARDMENT"

Slow developing but devastating last 30 minutes ... I need mental break today after this.

IMO It's worth watching ...

finished The Wire, man to be honest it is a very good show but I think for me it would have been more enjoyable if consumed weekly with discussion rather than just a short binge.

immediate thoughts is kind of indifferent about the final season.

I thought they wrapped it up fairly well but the whole newspaper storyline while having good characters felt really forced.

the previous seasons spanned 4-5 years and I never seen anyone read a newspaper once now all of a sudden it's a major element idk.

favorite seasons were 1, 2, 4.

favorite characters Omar, Prop Joe, Slim Charles, Mike, Bodie, Clay Davis, Bunk, Freamon

Fun fact. The wire had new release on BET. But since season two is the Pier workers a.k.a. mostly white people they edited it heavily to take that part out. It resulted in shorter episodes (of course) but more importantly the bigger picture of the entire show to discuss, analyze and deconstruct is missing major components

Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness: my second favorite multiverse movie of the year.

As I said in the Marvel thread - a solid 6.25/8. Carries the Marvel franchise forward well and delivers on everything we could have expected.

I've known about this new Dr. Strange for what, about a year now? Maybe longer? I haven't really paid attention to any trailers or anything because being a huge MCU fan, I knew me and my son were going to watch it. Really no point in a trailer, just been paying attention to the release date.
