Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I like words. And I know C CP1708 appreciates a detailed response. I seldom consider others when it comes to posting lengthy replies, and the reason I don't is simple: Anyone can look at a long reply on FB/reddit/here/etc and go 'Nope.' 🤣🔥

Not your post. Your experience.

Solidified me in my stance even more.

Attack of the Clones and The Empire Strikes Back go together perfectly. Take a look. During the final scene of Attack of the Clones, we have Anakin and Padme looking out into the lake on Naboo with R2-D2 and C-3PO beside them. Similarly, in the final scene of The Empire Strikes Back we see Luke and Leia looking out into space with R2-D2 and C-3PO beside them.

C CP1708 will understand the greatness of AOTC one day

Just watched Scream (2022). Pretty decent for a (hopefully) finale. I thought it started stronger than it finished but still a good enough sequel or “requel.”

I like how they were able to use that same OG house for the final showdown. Crazy that it’s been 25 years. Might revisit the original now.

Jenna Ortega is :nthat:

IIRC, they’re already working on another one, but Neve Campbell won’t be in it because she wanted more money and didn’t get it.

Times the Rock has decent to excellent acting performances:

Jumanji (both) - decent and entertaining
Moana - Good enough
Pain & Gain - Good
Snitch - Slightly above average
Be Cool - Average
The Rock as seen in the WWF/WWE (1996-2004, 2011-2019) - EXCELLENT

Glad to see that The Menu and Glass Onion are hitting because - while I too would like to see a little more diversity in new movies - I’m over hearing big names in the industry whine about “the Marvelification” of films, QT being the latest.
