Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

This is how I felt! There’s an awesome movie in there somewhere, but the theatrical release is just……off. Felt like studio interference or some sort of covid related editing/reshoot problem.

The tone was just super scattered but the acting, visuals, and action sequences should have made this a blockbuster from the jump.
What you are saying reminds me of the 13th Warrior. It was a good film that could have been really great. Also, Norse mythology related.

Speaking of Josh Hartnett, good to see him having somewhat of a career renaissance being in Wrath of Man in 21', Operation Fortune this year (was supposed to come out last year) and a role in Oppenheimer.

I usually just watch movies once and be done. Don't like investing time unless it's a really good movie like the dark knight, interstellar, revenant. Marvel movies I can only do them once.
Nolan eh?
I'd prolly always rerun some Guy Ritchie(Snatch) or Mel Brooks(Space Balls).
I'm a sucker for memorable zingers:lol

I don't like watching movies twice but thinking about revisiting Tenet
I wouldn't even touch that. didn't like it the first time and got me all confused. besides, the general idea of it was too wild to even make sense. Inception is just untouchable.

I loved the first season of the OC and contend it was very good television. It got worse for sure and became more of a teen soap opera but first season was very good. And the last season had some redeeming moments.
