"We are working on Napoleon as a 7 part limited series."

Oh wow that’s news to me. Kubrick was inspired by the 1927 Napoleon silent movie which was nine hours long and used three screens to show it. They could never get it right though. many directors Even Coppola had his attempt at editing it to make it digestible for normal people

Saw Long Shot for the first time. It was really really good. Rom coms get a bad wrap because most are awful. They're either not funny, poor chemistry, or forced romance. This one was a funny movie with great characters, awesome chemistry with the two leads, and then believable romance and a decent plot. It was shockingly good and enjoyable. Jonathan Levine is a good director. Going to rewatch 50/50 next
The chemistry between Seth and Charlize was natural AF. He definitely smashed. Or she definitely offered. If neither of those happened that’s a further testament to both of them.

Best performance I have see from Charlize.
Best role for Seth.

I'm with you: I love Kidman.

Sssssooooo I wish I had avoided The Northman. 😬

Was the movie that bad? She can do no wrong in my eyes but that movie isn’t really in my lane so I didn’t even know about the movie until you mentioned it

I saw ‘Secret In Their Eyes’ and Chiwetel Ejiofor had the right idea

i didn't love it but that's cause going in i had my own expectations of what it would be (which is never good). visually its pretty stunning and cool...def not what i expected going into a viking revenge movie :lol

you should check it out

I do wish we got a director’s cut of Northman. You can tell Universal had to neuter Egger’s a little since it was a big budget release. I think he said about 30/45 minutes were cut from the first act when Amleth is still a kid and there was more ritualistic type stuff in it, which I’m a sucker for.

I guess that's what happened, movie was doing OK then dipped into a convoluted mess in the end. As disappointing the movie was, Nicole's portrayal as a Psycho b*tch of a mother was good.

This is how I felt! There’s an awesome movie in there somewhere, but the theatrical release is just……off. Felt like studio interference or some sort of covid related editing/reshoot problem.

The tone was just super scattered but the acting, visuals, and action sequences should have made this a blockbuster from the jump.

See, I guess I disagree and it's not her fault. I just don't buy her in that role, and I didn't buy her accent at all. I mean not even a little bit.
Really? She sounded Irish enough. I even liked her portrayal on far and away. Maybe you are not used to her role being bad?
