I did, actually. I mean insomuch as I've liked any other movie featuring rape, suicide, incest, & murder.
Concerns: I have them.

Yeah I hope Ari Aster has an S-tier therapist on speed dial The man makes intense films and really comes up with some disturbing ****. Glad you liked Midsommer tho, it's definitely a polarizing movie.

Godzilla minus one is a good movie without even talking about Godzilla

It's a great one with him.

See it in IMAX or Dolby or the biggest screen possible

They did the impossible. They made the human characters compelling annd interesting enough that if you’d take out godzilla out of the movie, the movie would still be good.

Godzilla minus one was one of the better acted and performed human plot in an action movie. Shocking amount of emotion and really strong performances by the whole cast.

You should. At its heart it's a story of family and generational issues/expectations/failures. It's a wild ride and I know a teenage boy would ******* DIE at some of the **** going on. It's personally an 8/8 film only because it gets super grounded and heavy in the third act. Really brings the human element to the front and makes everything else worth it.

I had no doubt it was a solid movie, just from chatter. When I posted "I don't believe you," I wasn't sure if you were being serious thatt it's a good family movie or sarcastic, like "First time with a new chick and her kids? Highly recommend Hostel."

Godzilla Minus One did not disappoint! The IMAX in my area isn’t showing it until late so I had a gummy before watching it in a normal theater. Got goosebumps at the second Godzilla scene on the minesweeper
