Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Ilfenesh Hadera. I just looked at her imdb and she still works a lot. Coincidentally, we had a class together the fall semester of 2005 and worked on an assignment together before the Thanksgiving break. Almost 19 years ago. Damn i'm old.
What is she? Very ambiguous

Oh you talking about Mrs. Bumpy Johnson

She so damn fine. I would’ve got her pregnant on that assignment together.

In a recent interview, Hayden Christensen was asked about his favorite scene in Clones, and he responded with this particular shot.

I was delighted to hear this, as I was always fond of this shot myself. It’s the scene where he’s having a word with one of the jawas. Duel of the Fates playing to accompany the shot certainly helps as well.

It’s just a really powerful image, and it brings a reminder to the original trilogy (In a good way, of course).

LIGHTSZZZ LIGHTS ARE GOOD

One of the most random lines to lead to a cut scene lol
Bro, from the moment Paul Sarone was “rescued” in Anaconda, buddy was nothing short of a legend.

I’m absolutely obsessed with that character. The voice, the lines, the facial expressions he makes. Hell, even his haircut is on point.

It’s only a matter of time until I make this my avy

Whenever I do my 31 movies of horror challenge.. I really like to post alternative movie posters on Niketalk.. because some of the original movie posters are :{

jpzx jpzx totally agreed.. :rollin

Good movie, Jeremy Sisto is underrated too, that was a part of my scary szn lineup a couple years ago, that thing next Dishku on the poster was a terrible decision tho

Makes the movie look cheap

Batman Begins is part of what made ‘05 so great :emoji_fire:

"Substance" might be getting stellar reviews, but honestly, I found it underwhelming. Despite all the praise, this movie didn’t work for me. I understand the focus on self-esteem and the deeper psychological layers it was aiming for, but I just couldn’t connect with it—and the ending left me more baffled than anything else.

As for it being labeled a "horror" movie? That’s laughable. This is more like a dark, gruesome drama at best. The horror label feels misleading and oversells what this film actually delivers. Anyway, end of rant—thanks for reading!

Just got out of Smile 2. I thought Smile 1 was brilliant in how it was able to express the importance of rest and how being overworked could lead to poor mental health.

Smile 2 seemed to be a critique, or even a biopic of sorts on the prototypical pop star brought down by drugs, fame, addiction, etc. And I thought that was brilliant.

But I think the director may have taken a cheap route with the ending. It seems like the "rules" of the infection haven't been laid out clearly(or perhaps the writers haven't even figured how it works lol) and so it seemed underwritten and kind of took me out of the movie.

But what truly kept me engaged was Naomi Scott's performance. I'm surprised she hasn't been in more movies. I know she was Jasmine in the live action Aladdin. I expect and look forward to seeing more big roles from her.
