Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I can’t be the only one that was worried when the Yonkers music video came out and I thought a then-unknown Tyler was a jaded musician who decided to peace out

MI3 is my favorite of the MI series, my people—Fallout sucks. Bring me Cavill reloading his knucks and people stopping helicopters with their arm strength all day, another time... when human strength is actually on that world.

PSH in this scene, going from groggy to I’m going to absolutely find out who you are and take apart everything you love… is what I appreciate… it’s the acting

PSH was great no doubt but that's where it ends for III for me.

Fallout slander will not be tolerated.

Fallout is my favorite MI, but MI: III is close because of PSH.

Also let’s not pretend Ghost Protocol and MI3 were not the inspiration for damn near everything after given the themes and motivations of the villains are very similar to the Syndicate and that whole destroy everything completely and build it back up first talk

For a good while, I thought McQuarry was gonna claim that whole narrative with Solomon Lane started way back then.

I’m starting to think because you two and I love both those, that people that loved MI3 loved Ghost Protocol and vice versa, like it may be a group without knowledge of each other. I love both of those more than the later ones. I did like Dead Reckoning Pt. 1 a lot though, 100%.

I didn't love Gladiator 2 but if Denzel got a best supporting nom I wouldn't be opposed to it

dude was on fire

The double or you don’t have to pay me, the umbilical cord, the wine scene where he was realizing who is kin, the Virgil scene, the River scene, I could go on.

It had so much life because of him.

The Big Picture pod thinks Paul Mezcal Beer is gonna go off and be a big deal after this, and he probably will, I just don’t see him radiating outside of this role that I wasn’t impressed by much other than his speeches which were amazing.

Snowing here today so finally got round to finishing Shogun. Episode 9 was amazing.
