Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

lawdog1 lawdog1 Think I remember you mentioning that you’ve just recently watched The Birds (1963)? Did you like it?

Reason I ask is because I decided to revisit it myself last night. (On Netflix)

I’ve been fascinated with Hitch’s work ever since the 3-D attraction at Universal Studios
It was great. I may even watch it again because I experienced a few interruptions with the last viewing, which diminished from the experience a bit.

Make something decent and end it sloppily?
No, lots of people have done that.

No sir.

Have MULTIPLE shows flowing all at the same time, hell, same days even :lol and cooking with them.

Yellowstone closed fine for me, and I don't put it on him, Costner wanted to make his movie, and that bad boy bombed horrificly.

But I'm sorry, having Yellowstone eps on Sunday, the same night as Lioness eps, the same night as Landman eps,........ :lol That's incredible. And that's AFTER he literally closed Tulsa King the week before. And The Mayor of Kingstown a couple weeks before that.

5 different series, all running in the same few month timeframe, none of them connected. It's not like CSI, CSI Miami, CSI LA, CSI Bermuda, CSI 63, CSI Antarctica, etc etc. 5 literal different series, all in 2024.

Unprecedented.

I hear you!

I’ve got a physical copy en route to me that I ordered from Amazon

I couldn’t even make it past one episode of Part II of the new season of Cobra Kai. It’s gotten so shockingly stupid and overblown that’s it’s virtually unwatchable imo.

Similar to the later Fast and Furious sequels.

…only those are much more well made.

I made it about 5minutes in and decided to retire it. Felt like I was watching the same Season I had watched over the last 3 seasons and said nah buddy😂

For season 2 I'd recommend trying not to compare it to 1. I think if you just let the 2 stand on their own you'll enjoy it more. I found 2 enjoyable but nowhere near as good as s1. As mentioned the casting is great in s2 but the story can feel flat at times.

I've also been planning to start s3 sometime but just have so many other things to start watching.
Coincidentally, season 2 was infinitely better than season 1 to me lolll. I liked it so much more. S1 was good. But 2 was more well rounded as far as story and twists and turns. That last ep had my palms sweaty, knees weak, arms heavy

Interstellar in IMAX tomorrow... Can't wait! Never saw it in theaters when it first came out
Between the missed messages and hospital scenes, I don't think I could watch this movie in public. :lol
