Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Which should I watch?

Silver Linings Playbook
Perks of Being a Wallflower
Ruby Sparks
or The Sessions?
I just saw Perks and I thought it was great. Best out of those listed, imo. I am a little off though, so that might be why

Perks was a very good coming of age movie. Silver Linings Playbook was one of the best movies of the year, though.

Ruby Sparks is entertaining for the premise and Ruby was cute.

Ok...I get it now. I got no problem with Jen Lawrence winning.

And where did Julia Stiles come from? :lol

The dance :eek :lol :lol :lol

I feel like I need to watch this again. This is one of my favorite movies of last year. Every scene had a great moment or line, and the second Jennifer Lawrence showed up, the whole movie stepped its game up. Bob DeNiro was really good too. And Chris Tucker...so random. :lol

I can already tell, this is gonna be one of the ones that last for me. I don't like watching anything more than once or twice. Even I thought it was great, I'd rather watch something I haven't seen.

With some exceptions.

Silver Linings is one of those. So damn good.

I'm not a cynical movie viewer... but the dance and the result had me grinning ear to ear and wanting to applaud in the theater. It was perfect.

TV for today

Community
The Big Bang Theory
Two and Half Men
Parks and Recreation
Archer
King of the Nerds
Comic Book Men

Well.....Megan Fox lands the role of April O'Neal in Michael Bay's reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles due out May 2014.

Interesting. Mike must have buried the hatchet, and his bone. Lucky ******.

Yup. I have concluded that I don't like The Following.

Will continue to watch, but only because I want to know what happens.

Way too predictable and basic 'stupid' moments from all the characters

same boat as you with the following , its a love hate thing but the next episode looks intense

the americans aint been bringing it either

pacing is brutal , but im waiting till the finale to see how it comes togethor

Dang it! I was just about to get caught up with the last two episodes of The Americans too

But I do actually like The Americans just because it doesn't have all the cheesy horror/mystery cliches that are in The Following

I totally forgot Community started. Well, I know what I'm doing for the rest of the night.

Oh well, The American and Arrow it is

I never bothered to watch Arrow cuz I don't care for the character and what I did see of it flipping through channels never made me stick around. Plus I'm pretty sure when it comes on conflicts with much better shows.

Oh well that's cuz The Americans is a completely different kind of show. Drama, espionage, suspense. The Following is more Psychological Thriller lite with some added drama and suspense. Not much of a mystery in it other than what's Carroll's master plan but the point is to torture Hardy.
