I wrote an article on baseball salaries in high school, got every detail right, nailed it perfectly, got an A on the paper, and was told not to write another article on sports again the rest of the year. Teacher had no way to fact check me, or decide if I was right or not. ***** prolly took me out of ever trying something in that field someday.

I know a lot of female characters get some undue hate, but Nancy Botwin has

to be the most horrible person in all of tv land.  

Are there any redeemable qualities to this woman?

I could never do that Show falls off too hard for me. I can't even get that engaged to the story to hate the character.

Is that show canceled/finished yet? Last I remember things ended pretty well for her but I won't spoil your hopes.

I just started season 3 Big J! 

I'm about 8 episodes deep thus far. These twists, albeit expected, are almost one upping each other everytime now

spartacus ... i remember that ..ayoo all over. dudes oiled up and **** thats too much. i also hate series where one dude just solves all problems and the rest is just "around". It has to go somewhere like not solving a crime every episode. There has to progress like soa and the wire.

Yeah, Spartacus got some Oz DNA.

Watch Battlestar Galactica. Forget what the show's called, that's just the name they used to get money. Every episode bleeds into the next and it's one big chase/battle. It's all struggle, and the cast is deep as hell. The teacher from Stand and Deliver is the captain and that dude. Get to the 2nd episode and tell me you aint hooked. There's a battle damn near every episode.

And Luther is Stringer Bell from The Wire, so you should def check that out too. That show is vicious and brutal. And it's on that funky British system, so even though there's 2 seasons, it's only like 10 episodes.

Haven't finished it yet but I love that show.

I've never seen Goonies. Never ever cared to.

I'm a little surprised, but its not like someone saying they haven't seen Star Wars or Jurassic Park or something like that. And, at this point, I wouldn't bother watching it if I was you. I love Goonies, but it is very much a kids' movie. Without the nostalgia factor going for it, I don't see too many adults watching it for the first time and loving it.
