Hey, I'm not attempting to be negative (I liked the whole 21 million reveal when they realize what they did, and the walking to the wedding scene at the end) but I can't trust your movie taste if you say this was a good comedy. The first one, GREAT! Loved it. The last two
Bartha isn't essential to ANY of the stories. How repetitive is that?
It wasn't awkward comedy, it was AWKWARD. No one laughed or thought it was funny. Phillips even managed to make the very funny Melissa McCarthy unfunny.
Yes, I mentioned that line and how it was in the other films. Why does Phillips feel the need to do homages at all (and for a line that's not even that significant)? Especially after all the criticism he drew for the second film being the same as the first.
And the whole Carlos/Heather Graham... brought the whole trilogy full circle
Who cares? Another god damn homage. The pinnacle of the franchise wasn't Carlos & Alan, it was the brilliant jokes scripted into the first one. How about instead of homages and reunions just focus on making a good comedy.

I'd probably agree with reading the books before watching the movies cuz every time I've tried to watch any of the movies I tune out and lose interest 20-30 min in.
Every time I think about it and how/why Ed got the boot and with what we got in Avengers I'm overall disappointed for any future potential, especially now (looking at how he was thrown in credits scene for IM3) that it's basically pretty much confirmed as reality. for me at least, that we won't be seeing another Hulk film in a long time.
Yooooo SON! After this recent ep I feel like I need to take a month's break from the show. So many feels. So much new shh to take in, got my mind going thinking of so many ways this can go. I felt they went too far with the kid but then they calm my fears this ep only to bring almost everything to it's apex with Art, Sarah, and Delphine.Orphan Black!

Another relatively new series I'll be checking on BBC America is Copper. I missed the 1st season last summer but I'll try to catch up just off what I saw and who I saw in commercials.
Totally digging the period pieces on tv right now.
This is true after I recently re-watched the Avengers but I still would've preferred Ed, he brings a lot more. I'm pretty confident he would've had great chemistry with RDJR.

Good movie but Seeking a Friend for the End of the World was depressing as **** for like the last half of it. I dunno but I came in thinking it'd be more comedy and not another one of Carell's Dan in Real Life joints.
So yeah, good movie, had a decent amount of very parts and it's probably deeper if I think about it and get in to it but the finality didn't bring acceptance just a depressed feeling.

I chuckled when I saw Magic Mike was showing on HBO last night, didn't get around to watching it though, just saw one part where this dude was passed out and his sister was freaking out.
Well I wouldn't agree with all that. Wasn't meant to be a comedy though but it did have it's funny bits.

Finished watching all of Arrested Development. Pretty funny throughout the characters were great but you could tell they mailed it in throughout season 3.

Riding unicorns?Swear that's all I hear if there's a book out on a movie.Like I want to ask people "OK, aside from the 2 facts that I have to read the book first, and the book is infinitely better... what did you think of the movie?" if there's a movie I'm curious about and it has a book version that came before it.

Also, I haven't done a real survey, but I doubt there's too many people who will say the Silence of the Lambs book was better than the movie. Same with Devil Wears Prada and the Steven King novella on which Stand By Me was based.
