Olive 9s holiday 2024

The leather on these looks much better than I thought they would…At least on that pair…

Still a game time decision…Going to need to see them in person first…
It's definitely a better cut of leather across the board they went with on these. You can actually see some grain in every photo of the '24's. As opposed to the hard PU leather of the 2012's (and even comparatively, the powders from this year). Big win for those of us who love 9's!

Charcoals are definitely due up, but these are the 9s I’ve always wanted vvv

No nonsense, gimmicks, or reimagining. This colorway just like this, just with 23.

So, I ordered my first ever pair of Jordan 9’s, which is the olive colorway. Ordered my true size 11. Paid practically retail, but with shipping. For those that got them now, is that pinky toe issue still a thing? Are these even comfortable?

Here is my nostalgic story.

I was in the 9th grade when these retro’ed in March of 02. I mean this with all sincerity, but absolutely no one wanted these here in the DMV in 02. Even myself, I thought they were awful back then. They sat on shelves literally at every store. I remember them going as low as $50 with a full size run because no one wanted these. I also think the paint chipping issue played a factor from the white/black retro from January of that year. But, yeah, the olives didn’t sell well at all.

As I got older, they begin to grow on me. I remember some people in my elementary school wearing the 0G’s in 94, but I didn’t really know what they were, but I thought they were air jordan boots. Overall, I don’t like Jordan 9’s, but this will likely be the only color I’m going to get.

I tried these on at a local mom and pop shop, I'm between a 11.5 and 12, I tried on the 12 and the pinky was instantly an issue but nothing too crazy, I went to a 13 because they didn't have a half size and it was much better but I felt like a 12.5 would be ideal

I’m not sure what your foot’s like so I won’t discount your experience but I’m going TTS on these. There’s no way going up from an 11 to a 12 would be a good fit for me on these shoes. Can’t fit much different than powders.
