Yes, stores nowadays stay opened during CNY, unlike maybe 10 years ago when they'd be closed for 4+ days.  Commercialism.

Also... a lot of sneaker stores are now offering 20% off on GR kicks... a good time to buy!

On Kobe 8 system ...

Some resellers here in JP are selling them at less than PHP SRP, around Php6.4K 

after some online scheduled coupons ...

One thing I noticed the regular Pythons are a lot cheaper (by Php1.2K),

than the Python GC (I think XDR version)....

And that makes me wonder if Kobe 8 Christmas GC and Python GC are easy cop in HK ?

^ Python GCs are plentiful in Mongkok. HKD1399. the Christmas Kobes (XDR or not), good luck finding them in HK.

I went to Nike BB a few days after the BHM release and all they had left were the LeBrons.  A few days later, I went back and those were gone as well.  Resellers are your best bet.

Hi, New to this forums. I heard from my fellow sneakerhead that there is a big sale going on in macau. 20% off in most of the shoes. Can anybody tell me which stores offer this promo? or can anyone recognize this photo? where is this store? 

And do you know much much will it cost me to shipped 2 pairs of shoes from macau to the philippines?

I can't speak for Macau, but the 20%-off here applies to pretty much all the shoes, accept for Kobe's and LeBrons and probably various limited shoes. The discount did apply to newer models, like the Air Max 2013.

I think the sale ends today as tomorrow is the CNY.

I think the Energy's are still available but not sure if the sale applies to that model. I don't remember the price, but the KD V GR's were HK$899.

Hi im in hong kong now visiting family for Chinese New Year. Thank god i found this thread. This could be the only thread that talks about shoes in hong kong all in English.
I wear a size 12, where do you think my best bet for any shoes are? My last time here was 2 years ago and the way I got a sz 12 was the day the shoe released lol

Swung by a sneaker store today... surprised that they were opened! Anyway, 20% still available... including the Kobe's and KD's.  Didn't see any LeBrons though.  I guess it depends on the store.  

Size 12's aren't impossible to find as most shops will get them for GR models... but each FSR will only come with a few pairs of 12's as the usual-popular sizes are 7-11's, or there about.  You'll just have to check more shops.  

Anyway, regarding the Kobe socks, I haven't seen those in a while, but I have seen the LeBrons and KD's.

All the stores have/had 20% discounts... the Kobe 8 System and the Kobe YOTS EXT's.  Of course, that depends if the store still has them in-stock.

How have the past couple jordan releases gone? Jordan v fire red, j3 88 wht/cement, jordan 1 wht/red/blk?

Is there a huge following there? Do shoes like bhms sell out quickly? Do people camp out a lot?

There are a decent number of sneakerheads here... The rest are resellers who hire people to line-up for them.  The average sneakerhead can't compete with them cuz they are there days in advance, while the rest of us have our normal lives to get on with.  Limited releases are usually sold out within a day or two.  

I've seen old-ladies (hired by resellers) with their grandkids line up for Kobe's... all getting 3-4 pairs (1 pair per person). It's a %$&#ing joke.
