And when they say “water quality” what they mean is raw sewage causing the E. Coli levels to be significantly above safe levels.
It’s been over a century since people were allowed to swim in the Seine. They chucked a billion at it to clean it up apparently but it doesn’t seem to have worked.
If the levels aren’t good at the next check apparently the triathlon will become a duathlon.
Totally ridiculous. They couldn’t find a lake near Paris with decent water?

I can’t think of anyone to be honest.. on the women’s side you got Kate Douglass high end on the 200 breast and 200 IM
But most breaststokers are just breaststrokers.. and even within that you got the purely 100 or 200 guys
For a decent amount of IMers, breaststroke ends up being the weakest stroke.. like Carson foster would have had a solid chance making the US team in the 200 fly and 200 free
