Paris 2024 Summer Olympics: Thank you, France!🥇🥈🥉

yeah each country feels rushed + all the athletes are too close to each other imo

Yeah, plus the "stages" seems so far away. It's like I am watching Sims Olympics.

oh hell naw you could offer me a milion dollars and i still wouldnt play no guitar on such a small *** platform like that 💀

I sort of agree. Paris is an iconic city so Im sure they wanted to put it on full display
Yea the city itself is one of the stars of the ceremony this time, very fitting imo.

Normally they try to jam a bunch of the country's history as a whole into the ceremony without much specific to the host cities themselves. This is flipping the script a bit while still paying homage to the country's history

They're going full French with the envelope pushing, risqué stuff of course

I suspect that's probably the big reason

They'd need over a hundred boats if they were trying to do this properly.

They're continuing the country intros now

and it's raining? yikes. just seent south korea all poncho'd up

I wonder how they decide which countries get their own boat and which have to share. 😅😅
