Damn, that's horrible..

I just hope that it's a made up storywith no truth to it, like it has been suggested in this thread.

Imagine that a next time you visit a doctor, he tells you "you have 5 weeks to live".

If it's true, I hope he somehow beats the odds and pulls through.

EDIT: Some bitter-sweet news.. Turns out that he does have cancer, but it's not as severe as the article this thread is about claims with the "5 weeksto live":

Patrick Swayze is undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer but does not have just weeks to live, the actor's reps and doctor said Wednesday."Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment so far," Dr. George Fisher, Swayze's personal physician, said in a statement. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue."

I hope this is true, but Pancreatic caner is no joke. It has a low survival rate, and a lot of times people do die w/in a few months of being diagnosed. My uncle being on of them
