Paypal Dispute Question Vol. Scammed by NT member

So recently I sold shoes here on NT.  I ship the shoes and once the shoes are delivered he files an "unauthorized claim." I even have pm's from this guy saying he has the shoes too.

Could anyone tell me the likelihood of me winning the dispute? So far I've only given paypal the tracking info for the package.

Here's his NT username: So if you're selling something in the buy/sell forums be careful of this guy because he could possibly do the same to you.

OP, is there any proof of delivery or something like that?

If you have tracking and you sent it to the confirmed address, you should be good. If they didnt have a confirmed address and dont have a tracking number, then you are in deep @$%@.

The package was delivered yesterday via USPS. Tracking number: 0310 2640 0000 0947 7971

Here is a screen shot:
The first pm is him saying he got the shoes an hour ago.
The second pm is him promising that he'll cancel the paypal claim once the shoes arrive. (The shoes were suppose to arrive on March 11, 2011)

Here is a screen shot of the paypal claim: This is only one of the claims. He bought 2 pairs of shoes from me.

You should be protected if the confirmation number is showing "delivered" AND you shipped it to the address that was provided. Plus with all the PM's and stuff (not that Paypal will really care about that), you should have some evidence.

The only way you're not going to be covered is if the transaction was for $250+... then you would have needed signature confirmation that is viewable online in order to win. Delivery confirmation doesn't cut it for $250+ transactions.

Just going by what I see though, you did it in separate transactions, with the one you have showing being $125... so I would say you're good. But you never know with Paypal...

You need to call Payapl and get a claims specialist on the phone. I just had this sutation in reverse. I bought a crankshaft puley returned it and the seller would not answer my calls or messages. Call them they will refund your $.

He sent me the payment as a gift.

I was on the phone with Paypal today and he is claiming that someone used his account without his permission.  That is why he’s claiming an “unauthorized

This. He convinced Paypal that he did not authorize the transfer.

Yea, that was a dumb thing to do as far as the gift....Now that there is no item attached to the claim, you`re pretty much screwed.

Only way i can see you winning is if you show them the emails you got from him and the communication with him.

(Which i dont think paypal does......i tried this before and they wouldnt accept it)
