Anyone set up anything at their jobs for fund raising? I work at a Hilton property, Hilton already has some efforts on the corporate level but were trying to get some ideas going.

Right now I'm working on talking to a local Thai/Japanese restaurant to host 20-30 people for dinner and donate 20 or so % of the food bills to the cause, then hopefully my hotel will match the donation.

NT was there for my home native country of Haiti when they were hit with that devastating quake! I proudly donate to aid another country during it's time of peril as well!

Nice touch on the badge. Even nicer that this sneaker forum was able to raise over 4K to help those in need

Glad to see the American spirit of giving to the less fortunate.
donated.
wish I could donate more. maybe after next pay check.

@Method Man:

I recall seeing some posts about wanting the Japan badge on a t-shirt, but the response was that it would take too long to produce.
I agree with that and believe donating direct is much more beneficial.... but how about the t-shirt for later ~ to act a fundraising 'adrenaline shot' considering it will be a few weeks away.
Oh..... but I recall you saying that only a portion of the t-shirt purchase would be contributed to Mercy Corps because of the overhead costs.
Hmmmmm... well, I personally have no problem paying an extra premium for the shirt in order to cover any overhead.
What do you think?

Donated... and passing along the website to 4 other people not affiliated with NT who are going to donate as well.
