Nate Allen is a solid back up, I would be fine with that as long as he isn't the starter
in a limited role he can flourish but when he is asked to be a full time starter...RIP
same way with Boykin, I don't think he is a starting CB in this league, perfect in the nickel

Im not trying to sound like a troll because I like the Eagles.
But Ill say this before and Ill say it again, that high tempo offense will never win a championship. That Oregon/OSU game proved it. In order to win big games you have to control the clock. OSU did that with a freshman QB and 4 turnovers. If you cant run the ball and stop the run consistently you will never win the big game. Big plays and no huddle looks cool but when you have the lead or are behind early it has been proven time and time again time of possession and ball control win games.

I know our defensive scheme is different that what it was during Nate's rookie year but if we was limited to doing those things again, I'd be fine with Nate as the 3rd safety who would rotate in.

Cant control the clock tho thats the most important part. Team wore down in the final stretch and run defense in middle of the pack statistically

teams threw the ball on us..
terrible QB play killed us.. and not capitalizing on opportunities
only the green bay game did we not have a chance in hell of winning.. and the packers just abused the crap out of our secondary
even with how badly our offense played against seattle, we weren't out of it.. we have opportunities that we simply didn't take advantage of.. and we had breakdowns in coverage
dallas we shot ourselves in the foot in several areas.. and again our secondary got abused..
as was mentioned above, we run the ball and we can stop the run
Oregon's front 7 just couldn't deal with that QB and that RB.. their front 7 was being beaten down.. it had nothing to do with tempo
and urban meyer uses some of those concepts as well

then you have the Arizona game that was just a complete break down of the secondary at the end..
then the 49ers game, you had that backside play with kaep running all over the place then throwing it to gore on the backside.. on top of our offense doing basically nothing.. and coming up short on the goal line

Yall trying to outscore teams, in a pass happy league and a bad secondary, with one of the best RBs in the league and Chip is running no huddle wtf
Im not even hating on the team (tho they shuda kept DeSean) I just dont like Chip Kelly I think the Oregon offense is gimmicky which is why Oregon has never won a championship but they have been a top 10 team for the past 2 decades....

The secondary would still be bad no matter how much the Eagles offense controled the clock..
With the injuries we had along the oline, our running game wasn't as effective as it was last year.. And with the terrible play we received at QB, foles and sanchez left a ton of points out on the feild PLUS giving the ball back to the opposing teams
