He would have to fight the perfect fight, and by that I mean fluster GGG. Moving isn't enough, GGG is great at cutting off the ring.

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will face Eric Molina on June 13 at UAB's Bartow Arena.

I like a good underdog story just like everyone else, but I don't see it. Like I Mentioned earlier, he will probably make GGG work harder than he's used to in the first few rounds. There's only so much that he can take before he becomes a good boy.

As far as Broner/Porter, the only thing that worries me is the catch weight. Porter has fought at 165 before, dude is going to be drained.

Broner has horrible footwork and horrible head movement. Porter will rough him up worse than Maidana did.

This is what worries me. Making Porter cut down to 144 then putting a max on how much he can rehydrate (155 supposedly) - recipe for disaster. Pretty sure he - along with other guys like Brook - rehydrate up to around 160. Hopefully we don't get a dehydrated Porter that can't put on a real fight. It's happened a ton when these silly weight clauses like this SMH

Besides leaping in and rough housing , what is porter good at?
Yeah I agreed. Don't see the hype behind him. After the Paulie fight he's been looking mad suspect.

It's not hype, nobody is hyping up Porter. We're saying styles make fights. Broner showed trouble with Maidana, this is a bigger version of Maidana.

Maidana is bigger than Porter. Maidana is 5'7 and was 160 lbs when he fought Broner.

Porter's muscles are more defined so he looks bigger. Broner sits too much, thinking that shoulder roll is all he needs to slip punches.

Porter will give him problems if he doesn't move around.

Porter fought at 165 in the amateurs, he's definitely bigger than Maidana.

In the sense that the bigger man is drained from cutting to much weight and the smaller guy looks superb throwing his quick hands. But then again Ab might be the one who will struggle with weight.

Pac's style was a nightmare for DLH that night I don't think weight was the issue. Obviously im not talking about prime DLH, I just feel that it was Pacs night. Would it have been more competitive? I believe so
Broner vs Hatton at 140 would've been an interesting fight
It would have been a good fight but I feel that Hatton would take this one. Hatton would be able to rough him up and Broner seems to have a weakness for those types of guys. Who knows maybe its just easy to be down on Broner because of his last few fights being lackluster. Hopefully he has been training hard.

Bruh.

DLH was a 154 fighter for years at that point. He came down to 147 plus wasn't allowed to rehydrate past a certain number or he'd be fined a crazy amount per pound.

To make it worse, he was so drained and dehydrated - his body rejected the water he was taking in. They gave him an IV before the fight.

On fight night, DLH and Pacquiao weighed the same. That should say it all. DLH was DRAINED and dehydrated. Easy for it to be Pacquiaos night when he's fighting a zombie. Not saying he wouldn't win anyway - but let's not ignore the facts.

I think Broner can beat tons of guys if he really dedicated himself to his craft and worked on his footwork and defense. He's too enamored with the philly shell and he fights too flat footed which gets him hit with shots he should avoid.

Dont get me wrong, Im not ignoring the fact that he was drained for that fight. All I was saying is that I dont think that weight was the only reason why Pac won. I feel that Pac would have been too quick for DLH in the twilight of his career. The fight would have been more competitive though.
