Please Lock.

Damn.....

They mentioned a few times that he'd fought 5 times this year. 3 fights in 3 month to boot.

Maybe too much training. Which can = too much sparring.

Crazy that the madness after the 9th round could have been a blessing in disguise. No telling what condition he'd be in if he fought another round.

Prichard Colon is in the hospital in a coma, he's suffering from brain bleeding. Prayers.

I watched the highlights and dude got two rabbit punches during the fight. They looked pretty hard as well.

Apparently he was fine and collapsed in the locker room.

Granted, he could have taken a beating throughtout the fight, I'm not sure.

But after that happening, now I understand why the refs were on their toes during the fights today.

Anyone watch the scrap between Diaz and Peterson earlier?

Saw that. One thing to comment is if Lamont's beard helped protect his chin with some cushioning. Didn't know a beard that long is legal in the ring.

If Canelo fights GGG, I see Canelo being KOed, but if I see Cotto fighting GGG, I see Cotto quitting on his stool which is way worst. Either way prior to fighting GGG, I see both men demanding bigger pay checks to fight him.

Wow. That's scary. During the Diaz vs. Peterson fight they mentioned he started vomiting and lost consciousness when he was in the locker room.

After one of the rabbit punches he took, he told the doctor he was feeling dizzy, but they let him continue anyways

More impressive was GGG parrying jabs and blocking lead rights with his lead shoulder.

If he threw more body punches, Lemeiux may have ended up in the hospital for a month my goodness.

great show

This match went pretty much how I expected it to go. GGG doesn't get enough credit for being a boxer puncher. He has tremendous power but he's not out there blocking punches with his face. He has decent defense and he is underrated in the slick department. Lememiux is none of those things. He has horrible defense and all he really has is power. A fighter that simply relies on power will not beat GGG. Styles make fights and Lememiux had the wrong style to beat GGG.

Oscar De La Hoya tells me he would "absolutely" make Canelo-Golovkin if Canelo beats Cotto next month.

According to Tom Loeffler the winner of Cotto-Canelo will have 15 days to state their intentions to face GGG or not #boxing

I'm not sure how you could predict such a thing, but it's crazy that people still say stupid **** like this when a fighter wound up in a hospital, in a coma, just last night.

I can't help but be disgusted by some so called boxing "fans" sometimes.

And the word you're looking for is "worse".

I haven't seen anyone successfully tie up GGG. Ward is a master at that. I think Ward does that consistently to keep GGG from getting into a rhythm and finding his range. I still think Ward wins by ugly UD.

Ward skill level too much
I think he handles GGG. The hand/foot speed difference is still large.
But one shot could change everything

True. Also, like you mention with such a BIG PUNCHER one shot can change everything for sure.

In my opinion, I don't see Ward tying up Golovkin that easily. Golovkin has a much higher ring IQ than a lot of folks think. He also is very good at measuring distance and controlling the distance at his pace. I think most of the guys Ward faced didn't mind getting tied up, getting a break that is. I could definitely see a scenario where Ward steps forward to throw a punch and clinch while Golovkin steps back and rocks him. Much like Kovalev vs Hopkins. It'd be a very, very interesting fight.
