\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

^^^^I was just going to post that vid. That car looks mean as hell. I haven't even watched it yet but the SF was seriously the best.

Ok....just finished watching the Ken Block vid. It was ok. The part with the lowrider was sick. Overall it wasn't the best but still a fun watch. I couldn't even do one damn thing he did. Matter a fact, I have never done a doughnut once in a car. haha.

man that car is goofy, but what i wouldn't give to be able to drive like Ken Block

Loved the lowrider scene, and I couldn't help but laugh that they included the OJ Simpson White Bronco on the highway part :lol

Need some urgent help guys...

Yesterday morning, I turned my car on for the first time in the day to make a quick ten minute drive. I got a warning that the engine was hot and a few seconds later another message that the engine was too hot and to turn it off. After i turned it back on i drove home and did not get any warnings for the rest of the day.

Well just my luck, as i was driving to work this morning i got the same message again, ten to fifteen minutes into my drive.

I looked it up and im mostly reading that is might be an electrical water pump failure?

I drive a 2007 530 and its below freezing here where i live.
Damn that sucks man. Hope it's a relatively cheap fix.  I always hear horror stories about BMW and their cooling systems being terrible. And here we are.......

Definitely sounds like a cooling issue. My 3 did something relatively similar and the water pump went up.

The new Impala is a really good looking car... Might be my favorite American sedan on sale looks wise...

My initial reaction is you're SOL, and need to buy another one. Having said that, I'm a domestic guy and know next to nothing about Honda coil overs. What's the shape of it look like?

Im sure a shop could use spanner wrenches from another set of coils, but thats the key. Should I just buy another one? Do I need one for each coilover or just one?

Anyone with coils can chime in on how effective dampening is? My joints are wild in the city. :lol

The previous owner had them super stiff and I didnt hae time to have the guy installing them adjust them.

I think you're right, most spanner wrenches should be similar, many years ago I had an Accord that had some cheap ebay coilovers, and the spanner wrench that came with it looked exactly like that. The coilovers were so ****** though, that you could just turn them by hand, they felt like plastic, so I never used the spanner wrenches :lol.

Honestly though, for as cheap as both replacement parts are, I'd just get a pair of spanner wrenches, they should work for each coilover so you should only need the one pair, and the damper adjustment tool and be done with it. I'd assume you'd want a damper adjustment knob for each coilover, unless it's extremely easy to take out and swap to the other ones, for ease of adjustments. I'm sure some of the other Honda guys on here will know a bit more then me, but that should get ya started :lol

Alternatively, just shoot an email to D2 Racing and see what they think, they should know too.

Or call the guy ask him for it to pick it up or to mail it. :rolleyes

i don't have spanner wrenches. If i want to adjust my height i just use a big flathead screwdriver and hit it with a hammer to break the adjustable thing lose.

He aint picking up, go figure.

I assumed you could use one damper key, adjust it with a few clicks then take it out and use it to adjust the other ones. Or you need to leave it in there?
