Just got home from Vegas. Went to the Nascar race Sunday (yeeeeehawwwww) and i stopped by ShelbyAmerican today (where all Shelby cars are built) and it was pretty incredible.

will post pics of da Shelbys tomorrow when i upload all my DSLR pics. here's a preview though.

millions upon millions of dollars worth of cars in here.

Went inside the shop as well and they said they hired mostly entry level techs, some straight out of highschool, to work in the shop building all the cars. Because they would rather train their own guys than have people coming in thinking they know everything. Would be a sick place to work. driving all the badass 800+hp cars you build 

 

and a pic from LV speedway. Not gonna lie it was pretty cool in person.

do it. the shop was nice as ****. they had 25 lifts i believe. one for each tech they said. 

Saw multiple techs pulling out of the shop in customer cars to go test drive them.  850hp supersnakes and such.  Shop was full of Mustangs, Raptors, Cobras, being worked on. and i even saw a tech driving around in a Focus with Shelby graphics all over it

No one is insecure, you just always want to talk about cars being faster than the M but you drive a truck lol

To be fair tho the 1m >>>>

It didnt sell but the ones that did were bought by dudes who wouldve otherwise copped an older m3. All the show all the go. jus smaller and less costly.

The weight to power can get CRAY in them things pretty quickly with the right mods.

Im saying if the point is to drive a bimmer and go fast the 1m does it for less money. Very little sacrifice going from an m3 to a 1m in fun factor imo. Size is the one real killer in the 1 series.
