Some of us care about our cars appearance. It prevents those that don't from parking right next to you.

I definitely understand that. I'm the same way but you said take up two spots in the back of a half empty lot. You're still away from cars by taking up 1 spot.

its the principle of it. i could never take up two spots. empty lot or not. but ive seen people do this in a crowded parking lot.

Also in parking lots with tight spaces. I'd be even more of a douche if I saw a door ding when I got back to my car. Too many careless people out here to not be.

Personally, I have no problem with people taking up 2 spots if they are in the back half of the lot and it's empty. It drives me nuts when you park away from everyone else, and you get back, and there's one *** hole right beside you, and tons of other spots around. I don't double park though, like I said, I'm an end of the rower.

9 out of 10 times I just park at an end spot and hug the curb. When I do, I never do it an angle. Something about parking at an angle over a straight line does look douchey.

People that double park in front and/or in a full lot are ********. Especially that guy as he could have parked really close to the curb. At that point, only way someone would hit his car is on purpose.

I personally park away from other cars because I've seen people hit others cars far too often when they open their door........ Than there's the shopping cart, :x.

I judge people that leave the cart in the middle of the lot only to end up smashing into someone's parked car. One of the many reasons I hate Wal-mart.

I dont think i could do a regular golf. GTI or R is more my speed.

Got compliments yesterday from German tourists. They loved the Nurburgring Decal on the back

So it's not just me, the back is my favorite part .. Those are actually the wheels I was referring to. They remind me of those old school phones where you had to stick your finger on the number and turn in a circle. They look good moving though

what color is that? I can't tell. I like the dark navy and the darkish grey that they have. I had an 04 Passat and I wouldn't mind having the same dark grey golf

Haha, I'm an Engineer, parking in an Engineering University's parking garage. Before I even thought about going into the parking spaces, I already calculated my factor of safety for both sides of the 2 spots I don't belong in.

SO, you'll be taking up 2 spots yourself, coming anywhere near my car. Being equally as guilty as me.

I've always been a fan of GTIs, and heard good things about VW's DSG. Considering getting it.

I actually really like those stock wheels on GTI's, I dunno why. Clean car man.

I'm not gonna lie, I was thinking about getting a mk5, but ended up with the Lightning instead (polar opposites, I know )
