Got to sit in the new Camaro my gawd, Chevy hit a home run car is amazing. And hopefully I'll cop for my birthday in February of all goes well.

I've always been a fan of GTIs, and heard good things about VW's DSG. Considering getting it.

How do you like the car and the DSG?
Honestly, I love the car. I can't think of any modern car under 40k that I'd rather have. I wanted a fast 2 door sports car and preferred a hatch because I was spoiled in my 94 Integra. I didn't want one of the big muscle cars because I like small cars. This was the most bang for my buck and had added practicality of the hatch back design. The interior quality is very nice for the money. One of the best steering wheels you could ask for. Nice shift knob. Sunroof and touch screen. I highly suggest test driving one if you are thinking about it.

The DSG is awesome. Although it makes me a little nervous because fixing it can be expensive, people say they are built very well. when you drive it the shifts are so quick it's unreal, and there's a launch control feature (to be used sparingly /not to be abused) that is cool also.

I can't vouch for the new models (mk7). And I'm pretty sure the Mk8 is coming soon, but I picked up my CPO '12 for 20k and now you can find CPO 13s for under 18 fully loaded. Thats half off the original sticker price and once you throw on some good tires and the $500 APR tune, you can put a lot of cars to shame, and hang with some of the big boys on the street. I recently took a mustang all the way to 130 before he started pulling on me going up to 140.

My only gripe is since im having a baby i could've got the four door, but the dimensions are the same so it isnt cramped in the back.

You gonna mod anything on it?

Right now im pretty satisfied with my APR Stage 1 tune and APR Carbonio Intake. I want to do the exhaust and get lightweight wheels but it's my daily and I'm not really confident that going stage 2 or 3 will give me the same reliability. Maybe after my warranty runs out though. Dealers don't really mind stage 1 mods.

Oh and probably a rear sway bar soon
