\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Also I should add since you're looking into exhaust...

My setup was under 1k on my E90 M3 and it was the best sounding setup ever! way better than my friends Akra.

Megan Axleback with an X pipe.

Here's a video of someone else's...I also recommended the same setup to @BIGBOSS...speaking of which, Boss did you ever install the KW's I Sold you ???

My dog! I actually sold them a while back thinking I wasn't going to go that route but now Ive changed my mind and bought a set the other day

Sorry Nelson! I can hook you up with a guy at AutoTalent that will beat anyones price though if you want.

I do wish people did talk more on performance aspects of vehicles as opposed to what kind of front lips or wheels "look" better on them.

But that's just the aspect of cars that intrigue me the most. So I post what interests me, as others post what interests them. And I've yet to flame anyone's personal car in here. Simply make general comments on certain car scenes and makers I'm not that into.

You don't want me to start flaming. And it's not in my character to do so anyway.
I'm all for talking performance. Perhaps I was being a little nit picky saying I want to hear about cars NTers own, but no others. I'll admit that. Let's move on.

Straight line racing IS the purest, rawest form of racing period.

It may not take the most skill or require a certain car but in terms of the ultimate form of racing, a quarter mile is classic.

Any vehicle is pretty much welcome. If they can't handle a rally course the vehicle is simply incapable of performing. Adding to my point. I've seen plenty of Porsches on rally courses.

Dudes want to race in a straight line or a couple minute lap course that they go in loops on forever, which isn't really impressive IMHO. But that's just me.

Some people think roll racing is the ultimate form of racing as well. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Putting an STi modded with the same amount of horsepower and torque as a C7 Z06 on absolutely any course of your choosing and you really don't want to see the outcome.

The STi can play in any field, any course, any weather, any time. It's not limited to anything is what my point is.
M3>>>STI sorry bro that's just the way it is. Don't make me flame you bro.

bro.

I grew up into the quarter mile classic racing theme then I got into the curves of the apex of the winding roads/circuit.

Looking to do that in the future.

Not any car a will perform in rally. A 458, Z06, Viper, etc. would not do well but that doesn't mean they aren't performance vehicles. I look at racing types like sports. A person may able to play them all but they won't be good at all of them. A BRZ or S2000 would be great on a short course but aren't the best choice for a long course or drag racing. When I think of rally, I think of asphalt, dirt, hills and jumps.

I'm predominantly a muscle car guy but I feel like quarter mile racing is cool as an occasional thing. I like to drive so being teased for a few seconds before having to shut down doesn't hold my interest very long.

Going 315 mph in 5 seconds will always be cooler..

Oh for sure.

Rally racing is the ultimate test of ANY vehicle. There's not even an ounce of competition against it, compared to any cookie cutter track or road course. Now put snow into the mix, and it makes just that much more interesting, extremely high driving skills required, and dangerous.

Subaru is dominating it all tbcompletelyh

They run mid 9's on only 600hp, as far as quarter miles go. And mid/low 8s at high 700s-low800 hp.
What's your gear ratio on the diffs?
