Nelson, just wanted to say congrats on the M

Can't wait to see what you do with it.  I assume wheels will be a priority?  I could see BBS LM's or CCW LM20 looking good on it.  The CF roof is a great touch by the way.

Finally got my Volk TE37 Super Lap's in from Rays Japan, only took them 6 months

but man are they incredible in terms of workmanship and feel.  So light, can't wait to get them on my NSX after a proper drop from stock:

^Nice subtle concavity to the rear 18s, will be interesting to see how they look mounted to the car.  I'll post it up in a few weeks once suspension is in

Wanted to update you guys on the mods for my 94 NSX.  Just finished converting my exterior badging to NSX type-R NA1 Honda with hood emblem and rear center taillight (I'll have some rear taillight pics soon)

Next mod was changing out the original shift boot and trim which was showing its age and chipping, and putting in an Alex Zanardi shift boot (allows for shorter placement of shift knob) and NSX type-R carbon fiber trim with the 04-05 NSX shift knob:

Old shift boot and stalk before removal:

New shift boot/trim/shift knob installed.  Looks much cleaner than the original and the shift knob sits lower allowing for a better feel during shifts:

Next up is modernizing the interior.  My interior is now 21 years old and the tan color is really showing its age.  In the next few weeks I'll share some pics of the progress of my interior conversion to NSX Type-R.  I just received in a black set of NSX type-R headliner, a-pillar trim, b-pillar trim and sun visors.  This is my first time taking apart an interior and I just hope I don't break too many clips and fasteners.

Upcoming mods planned:

1. NSX 02-05 rear valence install giving the rear of the car a more lowered and aggressive look

2. Headers and Titanium exhaust install replacing the stock 45lb. exhaust with hopefully an ARC titanium exhaust which weighs in the range of 13lbs

3. LED light conversion for interior lights in cabin and trunk

Picked her up couple months ago for a deal that I couldn't pass up. Keeping it basic with stg2, wheel upgrade(been looking at vmr wheels) and a slight drop.

Nice subtle mods :smokin . You gonna do the e brake boot so it matches the shift boot? I think that would look good. Be careful taking out the headliner, its VERY easy to snap the boards, but considering how small the actual roof on a NSX is, it should come out pretty easy. Try doing a big 4 door sedan, the headliners are ***** to fit out the door! A and B pillar shouldn't be too bad to take out, just go slow. With how old NSX's are now, the clips are probably starting to get brittle. Since it's a Honda at heart, I bet you can buy some replacement clips pretty easily though.

Thanks brotha!  Brake boot in cf would definitely complete the look.  Appreciate the heads up on the headliner, I hear these things get brittle over time and are super easy to damage.  Going to dedicate an entire day to the project and just go as slow as I can not to damage anything.  Got a nice diagram of step by step removal and installation from the manual:

Can't wait to start on it and see how it comes out.  I'll keep you guys posted!

That diagram will definitely help as far as where the clips are so you know where to pry. Yea, the headliner is gonna be like 1/4" thick, they're usually a styrofoam/cardboard hybrid like material, and aren't very strong. By looking at those clips in the diagram, I know they sell replacements in both of those styles. Up here in Canada I know they're at JB Auto, but you probably don't have one of those down there :lol . If you don't have a panel popper, wrapping the tip of a flat screwdriver with painters tape or something like that will help with not damaging whatever you're prying against.

I'll be waiting for the after pictures :smokin

Ehh

Not a fan of the wheels. Nice Hawkeye.

But ehh. Wasn't aware STi's were supposed to look "sick" or "sicker", they just look like an STi should, straight out of the factory. In my case, only 1,000 were made and my particular one looks like it did when it came out of the factory.

It's not on a rally course, but when you're talking facts it's just what it is.
Geeze bro lighten up mah dog

I wasn't being serious.... lololol

But you get a BIG thumbs DOWN for not liking the Meisters, they looked better then every pair of generic BBS from those model years in my opinion.

Because of the color, rims and a few badges?

No bro. :lol

Time will tell but it really isnt all that special, its like the TRD versions of Scions. :lol

It's a dope *** car... No questions asked... It's damn near my non 911 dream car...

But there's ain't a damn thing special bout that car :lol...
