\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

https://www.carmax.com/car/13860759

Thoughts on this? And can you guys school me on these? Anything to worry about? Why is this a 2014 with so little miles for under 20 while I see TLs with around 100+ for 10k? Just a different model/product? TL more sought after I assume ? Are they expensive to maintain? I don't do anything but oil changes and maintenance when needed, no plans to mod or anything but tints maybe

My current car is coming to the end and I've been trying to decide what to get. Don't need anything crazy just want somethinng that looks nice and is reliable, I also don't want a Honda or Toyota . Thought about going midsize with a Mazda CX-5 but I think I want to stay smaller. I'm coming from a passat to a Mazda 6 so I like being low and having control of my car. Been thinking for like a year and I can't decide but I never even thought about an Acura, the one I posted fits everything I want, seriously considering it

I need something with a nice dashboard at night (really don't want red lights anymore), a nice rear, and hopefully heated side mirrors. If the dash lights are red that might be a game changer , really want white or something else

Tsx's are cheaper than the tls usually. Test drive it to see how it drives, possibly bring a friend who knows their stuff- if you got one.

Easy, single owner means probably someone who just drove a little under the average yearly miles and sold it to carmax as a quick buck. Different cars are sought after during different times of the year. I'll bet money that the car was bought in from an appraisal.

I don't unfortunately :\ .. That Carmax is like 50 min from me so I may go check it out. I just looked at my local Acura dealer and couldn't find a similar one.. Hmm maybe I should jump on this :nerd:
Edit I actually just noticed this one is at my local Carmax. Gotta look up the difference between this one and the special edition. $1000 and 2000 mile difference https://www.carmax.com/car/14688275

Thanks, that all sounds positive to me :nerd: :nerd:

How are they to maintain? Am I gonna be dropping $80 on an oil change? doesn't need premium right? lol

I had a TL... 06 Type-S... Before you but be aware that TLs are known for transmission issues. I replaced mine 3 times (one out of pocket, the other 2 with the warranty) .. My brother's was starting to slip and he got his 5 series. As long as you check the car fax you should be fine... I dont want to scare you, but just be aware of it.

I think you'll premium will be recommended.

I have an Acura, took it to an Honda specialist mechanic, oil change was $40.

Gonna trade my Si in a couple weeks. Probably gonna end up in a Hona again for the most trade in value.

Accord Sport probably the too of the list, although I do like the Civic hatch. Any opinions?
I'm actually in the same boat as you rn. I like the accord sport but I think I'll have more fun in the hatch. I'm 90% sure I'll be getting the hatch just need to figure out if I want the sport or the ex with more options. Only thing that sucks is you can't get an ex with a manual. So either you get the options and a cvt or you get no options and a manual. Does come with dual exhaust, 18" wheels, and black trim

Anybody have a really good car air freshener (preferably not one that hangs from the rearview mirror)

I use to always get the Febreze fresh linen and everything inside my car would smell like it's just been washed which I didn't mind but the last two I bought I could hardly smell at all

Of the coupe, sedan, and hatch, the hatch is my favorite.

The Sport Touring is great with all its options, I've been eyeing that car as well.

My roommate drives an Accord Sport and he has no complaints.
I like the sport touring but of course no manual trans :smh: I wonder what was honda's thought process on this. Only cheap people buy manuals?

I'm looking around for this color in a manual but I feel like they get sold fast cause last time I went to check one out and it was gone the next day. Sucks

lol @ the first name that liked the pic, isn't that ksteezy?

anyways, I'm not surprised by that accident. That's nothing new down here, this is the land of the ricers.

Is that off 17?

I'm coming back up to San Jose for the summer on Thursday, might come check it out.
Yeah, right off the 17.  A group of us are caravaning together down there.  Should be a huge turn out.  Canepa always hosts one of the best C&C here in the bay.

Yeah, it's strange cause Canada gets the Sport Touring with a manual. You can get the Mazda 3 in manual across on trims too.

Pat (the guy that posted the pick) use to post a lot on sole collector.

It's gonna be impossible finding a manual civic in the color I want. I only find two in my area and they're both red. What sites do you guys use for cars? I tried Autotrader cars.com and CarGurus

Why not go to your dealer and order one to your spec? You may have to wait but you can get it configured exactly how you want it and in the color you want. The Sonic Grey Pearl color is super hard to get too. Easily the best color the car is offered in

Yeah looks like I'll have to do that. Does that cost more usually? I've never ordered a car before

It shouldn't. And you can build it to your spec. Kinda cool and if by chance you wanna lease it, you can build it and lease it just like any other lease sitting at a dealer

Hmmm and what's the average wait for this? Couple months? I'm in no rush so I'm actually considering this. I didn't really think of ordering one

Really depends on the factory and demand I think bro. Like my sti came in the less than projected delivery date. Think it took 1 1/2 months?
