Yea i was pretty pissed. Especially since my credit is perfect and i was asking for like half of what the car is worth, and the payments on the loan setup i was asking for were only like 10 dollars more than my M3 payment so it's not like im asking for some ridiculous payment i may not end up being able to pay.

60k Miles. Kind of high compared to a lot of the 997 turbos on the market but still not crazy and the price was great.  Plus it was a 6 speed coupe and a rare color combo. Its a car i feel will definitely go up in value over the next couple of years

Damn.  I had a feeling it was a Porsche.  That's a hell of a deal!  I was pulling for you to get it.  

Yeah, I can definitely see the 997 going up in value very soon.  Although I've never driven it, I've heard the 997 are really one of the last true driver porsches.  The new ones feel more GT like.

So pissed brahs.

Friday, lady and I went to the South Street Seaport area for dinner and drinks, so I pull into a ICON garage on 299 Pearl Street, give the valet 20 dollars as a tip after he does his walk around of the car and says nice car! I said I want to keep it that way. We have a nice time and a few hrs later, come back to get the car. The valet pulls it up, the lady was like Joe did you curb your rim already? I said no stop playin ****. She then replied no ahole I am dead serious. I walk around and see this.



SO ****** PISSED.

I grab the manager and show him what happened. Of course I get the this didnt happen here. We do not have curbs so we did not do this. I said look the wheels stick out slightly and you pack these cars like sardines. The walls are white and there marking was white as well. The rim was dirty and that mark was fresh it happened here. Cops a ******* attitude and starts getting loud and in my face and I shoved the guy and said go do your ****** job before I knock you out and write the ****** report. He writes the report and then hands me a stub. With a claims department number on it and I dont get a copy of the report. I then said what are you talking about I dont get a copy? The paper was a trace paper that had a yellow sheet behind the white original so thats a copy that I dont get and you can write anything else on it and then throw the yellow copy away and say I was given it? No way.

I said I am calling the cops. I called the cops and 10 minutes into the wait, the manager calls someone, goes into the bathroom, hops on his bike with no license plate on it and dips out. Obviously someone had legal probs

Then his so called supervisor comes and tries to mediate the situation but he too was a con artist. I ask him, whats the name of the manager and he goes "I dont know". I said listen stop the ****** games, you are supposed to be his manager and you dont know? ****. Then one of the idiot valets said his name. Alex Usme

Cop shows and I explained the situation to him. The cop was a real cool dude, loved the Hellcat. And he said to the "supervisor" lemme ask you a question, when a car comes in, do you do a visual inspection and have a ticket to go with it? He says yes and quickly thereafter adds in "well sometimes". Cop told him, go get the ticket.

Brings it over, and this is it.



Boom no damage.

And this was after the cop told him bring it and he was like I cant do that. The cop was like wait he cant have a damage report on HIS OWN CAR.

Literally when I was waiting for the cops I ordered the rim off of amazon. I was so heated and was so upset about it I was thinking yo I cant let people see me with a curbed rim. I think it looks hideous and it is literally bothering me. That might be my OCD. lol



I HATE VALETS!!!!!!!!! SCUMBAGS. You treat them right and they still do this!


Avoid Icon garages they are nothing but hacks!

Now onto the process of getting reimbursed. Which I know is going to be a pain bc they are going to want to pay for repair. No. Its a brand new 2 month old vehicle, you are paying for my replacement.

Im tight you paid so much for one stock wheel, but I get it. Personally would've paid for the repair myself instead, but I guess that's why I don't own a Hell Cat.

Can you tip valets to park your car yourself? Think that's what I'd do in that situation. I'd hate the valet thrashing my whip.

This is exactly what I do. Whatever it costs to park I tip the guy & park my car & keep my keys. If they say no I'm peelin' out on that them & find another place.

I feel. I've had mine for 3 years now and have put about the same into it. On the other hand, since I took care of the water pump and HPFP, I likely won't have to mess with much other than general maintenance.

Come up to the 206 sometime breh and have a mini NT E90/E92 summit :lol:

Same here did all the major stuff just regular maintenance now

Bro i'm in Portland not far from you at all. I hit up lucky eagle casino and nike clearance store all the time

Most parking garages in the city are valet. Spider you didn't wanna take the wheel to a repair shop? Would've been much cheaper obviously, but that won't matter since they'll have to reimburse you hopefully.

Nah Jumpman, no way. In my mind it may be repaired but with my OCD I will find something wrong with it. Gotta be a new rim.

Yea man I wont allow any of that noise ever from anyone dont care if its over a rim or a penny, you get in someones face thats squaring up to me and I had to let it be known I was not putting up with any of that noise.
