I was using a theme in that pic.  I don't remember the name of it, but if you go 
to deviantart and search Windows 7 Visual Styles you will see all the different

themes and  how to apply them.  I also have my taskbar set to "use small icons"

and i'm running Taskbar Shadow for rainmeter.

Open Finder > Go to preferences

when i open finder it just shows folder and locations on the left and the files on the right

^ Go to the bar at the very top of the screen, where it will say finder, file, edit, view etc. Click on the bolded finder and thats where you'll find preferences
