All you really have to learn is the basics which are super easy and you’ll be good.

just take it in for valve checks and tires and the stuff that really sucks. Most other stuff is a half hour job or less to diy.

THATS PRETTY CHEAP FOR FIRST SERVICE. I WOULD OF BEEN THRILLED TO PAY THAT. I DO ALL MY OWN WORK ON MY CARS AND BIKE BUT ONLY THE DEALERSHIP CAN RESET THE SERVICE LIGHT. I PAID $800 FOR THEM TO TURN OFF MY SERVICE LIGHT

find some moto friends, join wlfxhere https://www.wlfxhere.com/

and ask around for indiependent mechanics. they are way cheaper but depending on the service u might have to leave urbike there. oil changes and stuff are quick tho.

idk about ur state but u can probably get it registered as a dual sport.

I finally put in the order for that gas gas ec300

just waiting onthe damn ports for the bike to come in. I hope it comes in the next week but dude at the dealer told me he was supposed to get 2 bikes in august and they never came lmao

2035 is to ban all gas powered vehicle sales

this law makes it so any dirt bike model year 2022 and newer will not receive a red sticker meaning it can only be used for "private course use" which means ppl will register it out of state and do a loophole

red sticker means u can ride in certain parks only in certain seasons.

its pretty jacked up for people who are their own little microeconomy.
I spend a few thousand a year on this sport just in parts and labor besides the bike purchase so its pretty messed up that we can't even get registration to ride with a brand new bike but I still have to pay all the taxes on my new bike purchase.

in 2025 they will make supposedly all dirt bikes model year 2021 and older green sticker meaning they can be ridden year round
green sticker bikes usually have better emissions than red sticker bikes.

but i don't believe they will adopt all older bikes into the green sticker program they might pull a fast one on us

Well they wont take ur stuff just give u a ticket and tell u that u can’t ride anymore which is a big bummer

Was way too nice out the last few days and I'm too empacient so I taped up some card board to my kick stand so when its up it presses the sensor.

Hit the track today, this is gonna get expensive… had a blast. Was working on on one with a coach. He was on a sumo too. Ended up lapping the whole track of lvl 1-2 riders with him. it was a tiny track so the sumos were in their element.

i already know I’m gonna wana 450 by the end of next year but first I need leathers…

hit the track if you can, it’s fun af.

dude tracking the 800 pound moto guzzi is a legend for that.

I was thinking plate one or else get a 690 or 701 because I ride a lot on the street and give up a little on the track for way longer intervals.

my coach had me passing sport bikes by out braking them. a little more power on the straights would be nice.
