If you go stay in Atlantic beach (rooms probably all booked by now) ...myrtle beach will be filled with too many non riders causing trouble
Think they're stepping police up big time in mb this year after all the shootings last year. They're doing traffic differently too
I heard they did Laughlin different to with a line a mile long to get in because the police were stopping everybody before going in. IDK if it's true though.
Really? I think the fairings on those are so weird. Ive posted this before but this is still da gawd GSXRAll Gixxers from the '06 model up to the '12 are my personal favorites. The only bikes that look better than any of those are a select few Ducattis imo.
Get the 636Been wanting an R6 for a while, then sat on a 636 the other day.
Im torn
The low end is much nicer for scooting around town.
I havent ridden an R6 since like 07 so i dont know if the newer gen isnt as peaky.
If you go R6 look into -1/+2
Makes a world of difference
I have it on my CBR
What helmets you guys rocking this season? I used a Scorpion Exo 500 and a Bell RS1 that i got on closeout last season. Looking for something new this year. Im cutting my hair soon so my old helmets wont fit. Prev lids before those were RF1000 and a Bell Star. Both were fantastic. Def the best 2 helmets ive ever worn. Thinking about just grabbing another Bell since i dropped the bread on the photochromic shield already but i like to experiment.
Back when I was on the Suzuki DRZ I had some cheap AGV.
Just picked up a Shoei GT Air and I LOVE it. Picked it up with 10% off, came out to around 500. Got the gloss black and I already put the pin lock on it. Couldn't be happier. Rode up to San Francisco (cause women are still crazy). I was hitting 90+ on 101 North and the helmet was surprisingly quiet and real comfortable. No fogging whatsoever with the pin lock. Looking for some cool stickers to put on it.
Does this sound right for insurance?
New rider 26 y/o no tickets or accidents, MSF course taken, Motorcycle license, Phoenix, AZ quotes from 600-1k+ A MONTH...cheapest I found was state farm at 219/month
2015 Honda CBR600RR
I'm not too knowledgable on insurance, but that does sound like a lot.
I'm 19, no points on my record, MSF course, M1 license, San Jose, CA and mine is something like $52 a month with that $97 down payment for full coverage on an '87 FXR.
Just a heads up to any Bay Area NTers, Road Rider in San Jose is having an event called brain day (or something like that) where all of the helmet vendors are going to be there and giving discounts on their products.
How do you guys lock up your helmets on your bikes when you're away from them? I just bought a helmet lock that goes onto the handlebar and the D ring on the helmet although I'm afraid of somebody coming by with a knife and taking it. I know the helmet won't do them any good, but people are crazy.
