I don't understand either. Why are they mad at Roy? The dude stayed once. How can you boo a guy for wanting to coach his alma mater?

It's the way it went down man. Even someone that was a complete outsider would agree to that. Like I said, most of the real basketball fans aroundhere have let their hatred toward Roy subside. However, those same people will also never forgive Dean Smith for his role. Dean Smith is a KU alum. He shouldhave been in town to watch his alma mater win a national title. Instead he was in town on his own agenda, meeting with our coach in his hotel room the night ofour final four game to offer him another coaching job. Dean Smith is the reason they chose not to announce each player by name at the Jayhawk 110th anniversarycelebration earlier this year because they knew he'd get boo'd out of the building. He's hated much worse around here than Roy Williams. Roy wenthome. Dean screwed his.

These are the only ones I'm having a hard time with concerning my bracket.

This one game I had to sit and ponder. 1) Kentucky has been inconsistant this year. With Marquette being a guard oriented team, and UK being a team ofbig's, I think turnovers will take the toll on UK. I really REALLY want to pick UK, but I just cant.

As much as i want to see marquette go far. i think theyll end up playing stanford and wont be able to gaurd their big men. but u never know.
I do like Wisconsins path. They play teams they matchup well against. By that i mean they play the complete opposite and will look to shut the opposing teamsstyle down (USC, GTown. idk about them beating kansas tho.
 
Wisconsin and G'Town play at the same pace for the most part...G'Town is more capable of speeding the game up tho.

I would love that matchup....pretty much the same teams except we have the athletes.

Honestly, I know nothing about this. I didn't know there was such disdain for Dean out there. The boo'ing (of Roy still) seems just a bitmuch. The Dean thing I can't speak on. But accept both school's place in college basketball history and move on.

And I can't decide who I'd rather the Heels beat more - Jayhawks or Hoyas. DF!!!

Ant IMO we play Gtown we beat them no doubt. Tyler Hans & Co. is not losing to them again. A lot of people are hating/choosing against UNC which may be atrendy pick, but I just can't see that happening. There is no way we don't make it to the Final 4 this year. We have a bunch of glorified 4/5 seeds inour region other than Louisville and Tennessee and we are too good of a team to lose to those guys. We have been crucified for our D this year, but I firmlybelieve that we will step up when we need to. We have a track record of doing that this year in several games that have been close. Not only have we got thedefensive stops necessary but also our team has shown poise and some players, mainly Wayne, have become much more clutch. This year Green has hit some big time3s to get us back in games (ie Clemson) and Wayne has grown so much since the Georgetown game last year. He has given us some clutch shots throughout theseason and I have 100% faith in him come tourney time and a tense situation. He's hit shots against Davidson, BYU, Clemson, Va Tech, and also BostonCollege.

I may be a little hammered right now, but I gotta defend the Heels on this board. A lot of people are going to wish the chose UNC to the final 4 or further;I'm just glad we know what the deal is.
