huh didnt know that. I think I read somewhere that one of the pirates old alternates had a red underbrim during the grey underbrim era. Yea Iquoted all the pics to make you mad go cry.

^^^i bought that hat 2 months ago at mickeyplace and it didn't have the NE on the side. But on Lids that same Chicago coop has a NE on the side. What isthe difference between the two hats?Why does one have the NE on the side and one don't? Sorry new to these kind of stuff

the ones without the ne on the side are official ball players caps (NE does MLB and you never see the logo on the cap, the official have the symbol on thebutton inside)

If it doesn't have an NE logo then its either an on-field cap (as Icy mentioned) or its a Cooperstown reproduction. Correct me if I'mwrong but certain stores who specialize in retro sports gear can order older team colorways/logos without the NE logo. Most shops like Lids reorder colorwaysfrom cooperstown collection but for whatever reason they still have the NE logo on the side.

I thought that lids has new era logos on the sides cuz they happened to be customs using throwback logos and colors.
