I wonder how much of Topperz's sales came from hats? Regardless, not being able to ship to North America is a revenue stream lost.

Basically Mitchell and ness got mad at hat club/new era for using the 90s sonic colors on custom mariners caps
Example below
And soon after, new era stopped approving of those color combos. It’s been many years since us shops have been able to use those specific colors.
It didn’t apply to topperz or any euro outlet though.
I think a black crown and maroon is as close as they can get. But somehow m&n worked their magic to get new era to basically ban certain color combos that too closely matched the m&n sonics copyright. It’s absurd but that’s the jist of it.
It’s small fries but I wouldn’t past someone in the us ratting them out in a sense. Topperz can do it but others can’t?

Damn that’s knowledge right there. I always knew there was some issue which is why HatClub could only use the black crown and not the 2 tone.

NewEra dropped some Bisons on the UK site yesterday. They had the Green Lucky Charms and a new White dome in the mix, was surprised to see them on the UK site, grabbed both of them with a discount too.

Lids retro classic California angels recreation. One of maybe 5 they actually did accurately. Made in USA. Grey under. Flat batterman
2009 era Florida marlins black nasty. Made in USA. Soft true fuzz poly. Remarkable stuff
2010 first year navy and grey batterman NY Yankees on field. Also made in USA. The Yankees are one team new era seemed to pimp out to China almost instantly so finding USA made caps is quite the find.
Three derby made USA caps found for 50% less than retail.
You like your hype, I’ll continue stockpiling these bad boys no one wants. We all win.
