your all entitled to your opinion. i just prefer the low crops because i dont like them floppy or havin them lookin like they have horns or something.

thats cool. i respect your opinion. like i said i dont like the high/med-high crops because IMO they look like horns i prefer low/med-lowlow crops. it takestime for dogs to grow into their crops. the way they look when they're little with their crops isnt how their crops will look on them when their older.their bodies and heads grow into the crops. but yeah that blue boy is a beauitful one.

Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog/Mastiff hybrids? They look like they can barely breathe.
SMH at what has happened to the American pit Bull Terrier. I still see pure bred Pit Bull's and they're beautiful dogs.

my girl's dog, but i treat him like a son. he's definitely the coolest dog on the planet. we dont ever walk him with a lease, he's almost beenkidnapped twice though. this one lady just walked up to him, picked him up and kept walking. i was like "yo, whatcha doin with my dog?!" and she waslike, oh. and put him back down.

I don't know much about ear cropping except to me it looks like every bug on the face of the planet can fly into their ears. I mean won't that triplethe ear infections?
Does their hearing decrease too? It doesn't look like to me they can catch sound real well like that.

For the people that want a bulldog, make sure you got the cash. They're not cheap and can get a lot of problems so vet bills will add up. If that's allgood with you, go to a dog show and ask around to get some connects.

pookieman- first of i would never fight my dog. what would make youthink that? cause he got his ears cropped low. WOW. i put to much love and care into my dog to waste his time fighting him. he gets the best of the best. whatkind of food do you feed your dog? pedigree? kibbles and bits

. i feed my puppy best of the best. royal canin for beautiful coats and a happyand healthy pup. and AKC TREATS. he's in obedience classes. so he's getting trained to do amazing things like when i snap come to my left side and laydown. just one of the many. and i got his ears professionally cropped by a certified vet. by one of the best in the seattle area. i did my research. so dontever imply that i am going to put my pup into the pit just cause i got his ears cropped. o yeah and how do you feel about doberman pinschers. you know theirears arent upright and erect like that naturally. yeahhhh yeahhh thats crops. and how bout rottweillers you know those tails get cropped/docked off when theirpuppies. o yeah how bout cocker spaniels. yeah their tails get cropped/docked off also. oo yeah how about german sheppards their ears get cropped so they standup like that. NOT NATURAL. yeah all that cause they were "visually unpleasing". you see certain breeds have certain staples like cropped ears/tails.and the pitbull is just one of them. and if you go to a good vet. they put your dog to sleep before they do any of that. say what you want but this ishow its been done for years even before you were put on this earth.

We just got a lil girl Pomeranian named Coco. Mom wanted to name her Hepburnafter Audrey Hepburn. I want a yorkie or a shiba inu and name him Polo or Fievel. Watching Fievel now lol.

Pet owners can do what they want to their dogs i was asked if i wanted to cut the tail of my Rottwieler but i said no, personally i think its cruel to dothese types of things such as cropping ears in Pitbulls, or cutting tails of Rottweilers but if owners like it then so be it.

My neighbors has an Alaskan Husky. When i went to Lake Havasu with them, the dog kept going into the water and fishing. He caught about 4 fishes on hisown and ate them all.. Pretty crazy.

mfreshm. i respect that. its like females. some lke em tall and skinny some like em short n thick. its all on preference. i like my dogs ears short. i dontfight dogs. im 100% against it actually. and its all on the owner. but i just dont like people saying that just cause my dogs ears are cropped low that meansima fight him cause thats what im against. i got him because i love pitbulls. i want him to be the model pitbull that is loved by everyone and very obedient.100% control over my dog is what i want. I want him to be the one that will change peoples mind about pitbulls. so far he's done his job. I've hadpeople that were fearful of pitbulls before because of all the negative media. But when they met my dog they fell in love with him. but yeah im done debatingthis. i would hate to have this post locked because we dont see eye to eye on a little thing like this. back to the pets. o by the way beautiful rottie.

Thanks i also agree with you that Pitbulls and Rottwielers get negative reaction they see them having cropped ears they see them as aggresive mean dogs but itsup to the owner to train them the right way many people are afraid of big dogs my Rottie is very friendly and little kids love him as your Pitbull. I like thebig dogs like Rottweilers, Pitbulls and Boxers they are friendly if the owner trains him to be friendly.

A lot of people have misconceptions about the Pit Bull. Mostly it's because they know very little about Dog breeds and their histories.
People should be more wary of any German bred dog than the American bred Pit Bull Terrier. Most German dogs were bred to be suspicious of strangers andvery protective of their owners. Go down the list; Schnauzers, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Shepherds. Even the German hunting and gundogs (Weimaraners, Germanpointer) aren't the most human friendly breeds.
American Pit Bull Terriers are naturally one of the most human friendly breeds. They don't require much socializing in that regard similar to Labrador andGolden Retrievers.
People fear what they don't know. It's a shame that the breed has such a bad reputation.

ear cropping doesn't even serve a legitimate purpose... purely for cosmetic reasons. I work at a vet and in the greater Austin area I know its realhard to even find a vet that would even consider cropping ears or docking tails...its unethical for ANY breed. Obviously you didn't do your research wellbecause id you did you would see there is no benefit.....your vet or any other vet should have their practice closed and license taken away..... If the earswere in need of a crop due to health reasons, yea sure.....but solely because you don't like how he was born with floppy ears? Im sorry but that is how thedog was born.......consider a different breed if you want virtually no ears. With the ears being cut so low they could face several other medical issues,hearing loss, ear infections.....the list goes on. Pitbulls already have a stigma of being the "agressive-tempermental" type why add to it with thisimage your trying to upkeep.
ps. there is nothing wrong with feeding your pet pedigree or any other food sold at petsmart or petco.......as long as it isnt raw meat and eggs.
