I've heard because it's a moist spot the ink tends to run off. A lot of artists won't do it.. but it all really depends on the person.I've seen people go for 1 touch up and be good.. and I've seen people go for 6-7 times and still looks like crap

bxbadboy - damn near any spot in the village.. i got my first tattoo @ 15 on west 4th. if you want something simple, go ahead. or ask for the artists ACTUALportfolio because some of those dudes are straight up scratchers. i suggest waiting a year and going some place legit though.

I actually first read it off an MJ poster, and it has stuck with me for a long time, a quote I think about every time I'm about to start a task or try tocomplete a goal. I try to do everything on my own, I'm a very independent person, and I try to be the best at everything I do (mainly I strive toconstantly improve my artwork and top myself). So the quote is really big for me.

This one was my first one, I got it when my grandfather had his second heart attack and I had to go to Florida to visit.


My father died when I was 10, and he was really big into tigers, just his favorite animal, don't really know why. So I got it while I was down in Floridaas a sort of rememberence to him. He had this hieroglyphic sun done on his own arm that I'm going to put behind the tiger. He got his while he was at thebeach only a few months before he passed. I haven't been able to find photographic evidence of it, so I'm trying to sketch it from memory.

I'm getting my next one at the end of the summer after I get back from greece though. Can't wait to get it done. It's going to be 3 osprey birds(hawks at the beach) with a lighthouse that my dad drew. They are to represent the time when my mom, dad, and I had a house at the beach and I was alwaysfascinated by the birds.

So that's my story.
