as promised, picked this up today.

initial impressions is a mixed bag. materials is a mix between plastic and diecast which is fine by me also it's lighter compared to the SOC version. quite glossy finish which is nice. I would say the SOC is better in terms of materials. stability is great and definitely a hell lot better than SOC. some additional platform add-ons on the feet for more stability. ratchets are tight. articulation is the best that I have seen so far, lots of poses and degree of movements, better than the SOC. quality control, now this is one issue that needs to be addressed further by ThreeZero. while I seem to have gotten the 2nd batch of the Voltron release since I didn't have the unsecured popping right arm issue, I did notice some qc issue with regards to one leg part where the ratchet rim fell off. possibly due to bad gluing work. also, the tail of the black lion which is behind the figure has this feeble connecting joint. it's annoying as part of the tail keeps on falling off whenever being touched. not sure if I'm going to ask for a replacement or just do a DIY gluing for both parts. typical glue doesn't work nor does silicon. so I might need to use something stronger which might make it more permanent and would not be able to pop those parts off ever again. I'll think about it as long as it's not cumbersome to manage, I will leave it as is. would have been perfect if not for those two qc issues.

Jada Toys is on a roll. If they can get the OK from Capcom on resident evil I'm gonna lose my mind.

Also...NECA needs to chill out with dropping $600 worth of stuff at once:lol:. They already did that nonsense with the haulathon earlier in the year. At least it was easier to locate the figures this time with them coming in directly on the trucks vs the vendor route.

It’s been a week.

Haven’t found Michelangelo Mutant Mayhem but there’s a ton of figures I want from this line.
Haven’t received shipping on either of those Ultimate WWE figs yet. Did find an Elite 101 Cody Rhodes though today after Amazon has had my preorder on back order for months.

I was on the fence for the mutant mayhem 6pk that included april and bebop.

I normally dont care for the kids line but they seem to be done pretty well.
