if you spread it on the bread before toasting, the pb and j prevents the bread from getting toasted
so when you put it together after, the top bottom and sides are nice and crusty but the inside (two sides of bread that the spreads are on) is still soft and untoasted
works best with thick slices
And how do you keep it from getting all over your toaster exactly?
