but on the real my moms taught me how to cook and told me dont ever depend on no woman to make u a meal

Same here. When I was a kid she made me start washing my own clothes and taught me to iron.  Whenever she cooked I was always in the kitchen so I learned from watching and she made me clean. Can't be a grown man talking about "bae do all that for me". You depend on that *****. She leave and you eating mcdonalds while surrounded by dirty clothes till the next one comes along

I had to figure that **** out as I went. I'm lazy though, so I'd still make a sandwich before I cook if I'm only feeding myself.

but my son picky
he 8 and be turning down homemade mac n cheese, candied yams, and fried chicken
talkin bout he wants some top ramen noodles

but FRENCH TOAST > waffles > pancakes

my aunt uses sugar in pancake mix. i tried but they tasted EXTRA bitter ever after i poured in the sugar.

and yes FRENCH TOAST > all.

 
The coating breaks down over time I think from all the uses.

i didnt know that at the time. i thought it was for life.

but now i know its for life, like marriage.

Man, **** y'all who organically became independent. My mom just pretty much said "I'm not doing this for you anymore" at like 10 and left me to figure that **** out through trial and error in everything from cleaning, to cooking, to laundering. Now she wonders why I'm so unwilling to do any of those things for her, like she didn't make me this way
