POST YOUR WATCHES vol. ?

Just tried that.

Didn't work. I don't know if you're supposed to wait to see results but yeah... no bueno. :(

Is it the glossy or matte finished? If its the matte finish then it will naturally stain and the only thing you can do is replace the strap and the faceplate. You can always dye the watch with rite dye iirc. Worse case just get a new one, most Gshocks are $100-200 anyways.

Should I pull the trigger?

It's essentially a free watch; I just pay the taxes.

Not an original design as it looks almost like my Piljot Strela but I love the old school chrono design. As long as it isn't too big and you like pull the trigger brah.

nice movado....i'm still undecided on a wacth but want a brown, navy, and black one soon!

Anybody???

I would try using a product called Goof Off. I used to use it to remove the lettering on my G-Shocks so I could stealth them out. Everyone on the watchuseek forum used to do the same. You have to remove the faceplate from the module though because it will eat away at plastic. Place the faceplate and strap in a flat bowl with a bit of Goof Off for about 5 mins. Then flip it over and do the other side. After that give it a good rinse with water. If you let it sit in the product too long it will become very soft but will later return to normal. It will also cause the watch to smell for a bit but that goes away as well. Hopefully this works for you.

anyone know if the Nixon 51-30 Tide any good. It has a swiss movement. Any help is appreciated.

Crown stem might have snapped? Can you hear the gears turning as you wind it?

A lot of people are opposed to watch winders but snapping the stem of the crown is a a risk to those who choose to manually wind their watches even though they watch their watch often, just not often enough to keep it's time, unscrewing and screwing back and forth puts stress on the stem and risks breaking it.

It's an invicta, there are plenty of reviews and opinions that can keep you busy for days (srs). Look @ Tissot, Hamilton, Seiko, Citizen, and Casio Edifice line. Granted the invicta is gaudy as hell, so you might have limited options.
