POWER THREAD (Sun., Starz)

I personally thought the show "had potential" after the first episode and by the time I had reached episode 4, I knew it was a winner.
It's passed potential, show is dope

Edit: and I never understood people that said the only storyline was ghost, and the writing was limited because of the premise, man, how wrong was that?

Watched it last night and I thought it was real good. Tommys chick gotta go, this fool has told her basically the whole operation.

So glad Holly got popped.............so glad.  Looks like we'll have to wait till 2015 to see where the shows goes, but that's cool for me because it's about to be football season anyway.  Hopefully Season 2 is not about all about Kanan/50 Cent or all his various products.  I wouldn't want this show to be a platform to highlight and showcase anything 50 Cent related.

Holly, I'm so glad it was you. Hitwoman made a mistake and did something right at the same damn time
Yep.
I wonder what's the story with ghost and not drinking...
My guess would be because most people want to have a clear head when making big decisions and handling a big operation, which he does.  He wants to be able to think straight and be focused as much as possible, can't do that when your buzzed from alcohol.

How shorty even work up the nerve to talk to a boss like that, "partners". smh, finish the job with a pillow.

Fell for the hype with this show... was extremely let down... looks like it belong on Fox

I dont want to make this a race thread and how, no matter our position on the board, we're still looked at as lower class, but it's happened to ghost twice...once with the big time club dude and then with tommy's chick. Straight disrespect.

yo, we're all watching survivor's remorse too this fall right?

Ghost played himself thinking that old dude wanted to be partners with him. They brought him and his wife there for some type of entertainment.

I don't think the acting is the problem with this show...its definitely the writing. It needs to be a bit more smarter. They played it safe...hopefully the second season matures.

Lobos got Ghost to thinking he could make Tommy the front man and not have to worry about being in the streets as much.

IDK, I didn't take it like Ghost was really handing the reigns to Tommy, but more so he was using Jedi mind tricks. He knew Tommy hated Ghost having just one club, and here he is trying to open another, so he had to figure a way to bring up the idea, while also making Tommy think it was his idea. So he sold him on the fact they're going to have sooooo much more work, and soooooo much more money, that they'd absolutely need another outlet to wash the dough. All Tommy heard was money and the fact he'd be in charge, so he was with it. I feel like Ghost wants his hand in all pots. And even still, that was before he found out Tommy shared their entire mission statement with Holly. Tommy might **** around and be cut off. I wonder if ghost knows he's a cokehead..

Remember Lobos told Ghost he should have his people doing more work for him so he wouldn't have to be involved in as much, but still gettin that $. Which is why I think we saw Ghost selling Tommy on the thought process of him taking charge out in the streets moreso than Ghost. I could be reading it wrong though.

You read it correctly because when Ghost finally had that epiphany they flashed back to those exact convos he had with Lobos

Yea know I remember that part too, Lobo's mentioned Ghost having his own Cartel. Idk if Ghost really felt Tommy could be 'that dude' though. Hot heads rarely get put in charge...of anything. Just think Caesar..and Koba. Tommy will only ever be hired muscle.

We're partners

Show as a lot of potential. So much unanswered, I don't want to get ahead but I think this has the potential to be the next Breaking Bad if the writers handle it properly IMO. So much story for next season after that finale!! They can give this show a good 4-5 season run.

wash your face b

If that chick is still alive Ghost and Tommy need to make the deal ...

Tommy Knows Angie is a Fed and Ghost knows chick knows to much ...

Tommy Kills Angie and Ghost Kill this self entitle ***** ...

Call it a day and team up for 50 ...

That wasn't about Ghost. Tommy is the reason Holly thinks she somebody. He's done everything except tell her where they keep the stash and introduce her to Lobos.

Club dude brought Ghost there to remove him as a threat and piggy back off Truth. He didn't get to where he's at by partnering up with people...black or white. They buy out competition or get rid of them some other way. He basically offered his right hand mans job to Ghost...while he was sitting there :lol Dude doesn't care.

I know all that, but still they got a kick outta having a successful black couple at their house. The other dudes wife asking to touch Tasha's hair, the dude asking Ghost how does he get blacks and latins to "behave".
