This thread just makes me so happy. You guys are super supportive as I try to perfect my Kanan voice and that means everything. My pronunciation of my “Js” is coming along where my pronunciation of Jukebox is almost there.

Idk what’s going but Kanan’s 50 accent was unbearable this episode.
That Juke **** was tough. Shawty fighting for her life. I know she’s probably shown her mom little hints but did she ever do anything for her mom to 100% think she was gay? Thought she covered her bases when she went on the date with buddy.
Sal somehow runs all of New Jersey with these weak *** shooters. No walk down is irresponsible.
Detective Burke is just mentally I’ll at this point

But the church ain’t criticized her mom for abandoning her and being an absentee mother? Why Letoya Luckett ain’t get intervention for that????

Made absolutely NO sense. She accused Juke of being a sinner…. Like she didn’t abandon her child and went off to LA and did some scandalous things as an “aspiring” singer.
We know it’s the early 90s so being gay was still frowned upon/taboo but for Letoya Luckett to act like a concerned mom all of the sudden?
